While I recognize that all of you at CCP are just trying to make the game more enjoyable, I have an honest question for you. Why do you insist on putting all of these stupid fireworks into the daily rewards? For those of us with multiple accounts, it is a hassle to take the time to destroy it all.
Most of us who play this over-20-year-old game are dads, and we are not into these fireworks and whatnot. Please provide us with more reality-based rewards.
You can always sell or gift them. Fireworks are great, some people enjoy performing them. If nothing else just jetcan your fireworks in front of a station, if a local trade hub even better and maybe someone will get them. Pretty wasteful to destroy them.
If you don’t pick the reward up, it expires and you never have to deal with it.
I’d perhaps also suggest to CCP that things like event Fireworks or expiring Filaments or Boosters that many people don’t use, all be Reprocessable for a small amount of minerals or something. That way a player could select them all, dispose them in one batch, yet still feel they got something of value from the even clutter.
They are not “stupid” as you purport. I love them, I think it is nice that the devs include things like that in the dailies, it shows that they know what fun is and are willing to make us share their idea of fun.

Yes most are dads, you know what dads all have? Children who would love to watch some spaceship fireworks! Seeing them excited surely is reward enough right?
Some people find fireworks quite useful for purposes other than display. They can be used as a distraction and annoyance against fleets, for example, by people defending a station. I have seen that a number of times.
