Re-named: I lost my Azbel with my entire life’s work in the 2 weeks between logging in

I refer the Right Honourable Lady to the answer I gave some moments before.

Anderson isn’t interested in your answer, she’s only interested in arguing the toss in order to satisfy her ego.

The more things change, the more they stay the same, can anybody recommend a decent cheese to go with the fine whine?

@Ramik
I did not really care about fuel or the structure. The structure would die at some point anyway, if someone really wants to kill it. I could never defend it against someone who really tries. I however got the first message ever on the 31.05.2020 that my assets were at risk. And that was 5 days before i lost everthing

And you did nothing about it for 5 days…

well duh because i wasnt online to read it in those 5 days ^^

That’s not an us problem, that’s a you problem.

When I ran a research PoS I had a 3rd party tool that polled the API and informed me of things like low fuel, attackers etc.

Utter bollocks. All my accounts, subs and not subbed, got emails reminding me of the coming changes.

Indeed, so …?

Are you telling us that anything that is not your problem is not a problem at all ? Or that you saying you are “only interested in arguing the toss in order to satisfy your ego” ?

Or are you telling it’s ok to lose everything the moment you take a break from Eve ?

Don’t put words in my mouth, nothing in the sentence you are trying to nitpick implies that there is no problem; it merely states that the problem is his, and his alone.

Or that you saying you are “only interested in arguing the toss in order to satisfy your ego” ?

I’m not the person who constantly argues semantics on the forum in what appears to be an attempt to stroke their own ego.

Hi Destriouth, thanks for replying.

I understand about the value of the structure - if you sometimes don’t log on for a month, you could have a whole war-dec and double reinforcement cycle and still lose the structure before you knew anything about it.

What I am confused about though, is that you say you logged in to do your research around 20 May. However, if the Research Lab of the Azbel is off-line, how could you do any research without re-fueling it and reinstating the Research Lab?

Obviously the BPOs and the Research business are the things valuable enough to you to (previously) keep your 7 accounts subscribed, so it’s puzzling me why you would log in to check the research and not re-fuel the Azbel’s Research Lab. I don’t have a structure, so have I correctly understood that you need to have a on-line Research Lab on the Upwell structure for Research to be happening?

Because I had a stressfull month and 1 week of missed research isn’t really something to write home about. I only did it as a longterm project to maybe use the BPCs in a year or so… or just collect them and look at them. They are not that valuable and rather hard/annoying to sell (contracts expire). If I didn’t have that little BPC project I would have paused completly and I didn’t want that.

To start this off: I have been playing regularly, was subscribed, was online 2 weeks ago, had fuel inside 1 week ago [/quote]

Hi Destriouth,

Yes, real life is something of a stressful thing lately, especially with all the fake news that is around at the moment.

I think your post gave a good example of how the recent changes could have affected players with structures. I checked through the emails I received from CCP and also couldn’t find one that said anything about the new state of “abandoned” structures.

Commiserations on your loss. It probably won’t be much consolation to you that other recent developments in the game mean that even if you had transferred all of the BPO to a highsec station, you could possibly have come back to find yourself sitting in nullsec surrounded by triglavians.

Fly safe.

You are the one making personal attacks whenever your point is proven wrong, like most of people here.

You have nothing to answer =>personal attack. How lame.

All of that is your fault. CCP is not responsible for babysitting you, if you dont even pay attention to your account and your ingame assets. What do you expect them to do, for such an arrogant person like you? Send a personal courier mail to your house, or what? Or may be phone call/fax? Dude.

Also, you just wasted 8 years of your life for nothing. Make a fresh start but do it smart way. 600bil isk - is not a big wealth anyway, its just a couple of nicely fitted supercaps. You can make 1T in less than one year, if you do it smart.

You made only a hollow shadow of a wealth, and spent a huge ■■■■■■■ lifespan on that, lol. Which means you were doing it wrong all that time. You were a noob. Now you can become somewhat of a smart capsuleer, that never falls for such a stupid trick. And never kepps all eggs in one basket (which is beyond all levels of stupidity, especially in a game like eve)

Good riddance

lol

Also if he had stored all of that crap in his corp hangars, then he is a double fool. because all the corp hangars goodies can be scanned down with a simple ship scanner, lol

Your insistent whining tells us you do

Yep. Welcome to EVE. How did you play EVE for so many years and not figure this out yet?

Usually you inform yourself

And here you have the important part: you didn’t inform yourself, and now you’re posting a whine thread about losing all your stuff.

What is the purpose of taking a break from eve if you cannot take a break from eve?

You can take a break from EVE. You just have to acknowledge that your stuff is meaningless pixels and not “your entire life’s work”. Plenty of people take breaks from EVE or even quit forever because they don’t care about the game anymore.

Hypocrite!

Are you surprised? Hypocrisy is what it does.
