Well a 68m catalyst is locked under 4.2 s by the vedmak, and with good skills (perfect ?) I have 4s align so people can get shot by vedmak too.
Also corax aligns in 4.4s so it sure will get shot by the vedmak. I checked an most destroyer align in more than 4s and get targeted in less than their align by vedmak with 400 scanres.
It’s not about stupidity but experience. People who start with the hauler given by the career agents have no idea how to fit it.
And since it’s tutorial (I still talk about career agents). I guess that most new players (based on experience from other games) expect that tutorial is in somewhat controlled environment. Which results in ignoring warning.
My problem with this threat is that I mostly agree with Ms Steak. EVE should be hard, harsh and if you can’t find information or learn at your own you probable won’t go far in EVE on long run. But issue is that invasion in end game of empire space. Hard to do solo even with high SP character and intended for fleet activity. Comparing this to what difficult level represents tutorial, career agents or even soe arc. Difficulty difference is to big in my option. There is no transition. That’s why I think this needs CCP attention, so they can decide if this is intended or not.
Because even if all that wrecks are result of lack of knowledge. You won’t find that knowledge in game. If we want to leave invasion at it is. One jump from career agents, during arc etc. At least give more informations and tips in game. We have agency after all.
forgot about that, so new players that just started the game should stay docked for like a week? and hopefully dont have the invasion respawn like 5 mins later?
i had that happen to me running the SOE arc, part of it was in an invasion that got finished than like 5-15 mins later the same systems were under a new invasion
yeah i run a help channel since alphas came out, its a mess of constantly being asked questions on topics that were taught in the tutorial and by starting agents. no one ever ask about the invasions or anything else
He only notices persons who have one issue, therefore he thinks all people have this issue.
Since he is on a newby channel, he thinks “all newbs have this issue”. That’s why he has such a bad opinion of starters.
He just can’t realize all the newbs who have not that one issue.
When everybody tells you that life is bad, you start believing it, even if only 1% of people are voicing their opinion. It takes a lot of rigor and opposition in which you trust to avoid that pitfall, so unless you want to become a bittervet too, don’t waste your energy on newbros channels.
