Remove suicide ganking from high sec

The standard is that you, the person requesting a change, must meet the burden of proof and establish that a change is necessary. If you don’t do that then you lose.

Empty freighter, zero ISK dropped. Gankers clearly lost ISK on that one.

wait a minute…

Someone called you out being a goon, so let me ask you…
If you had a hauler ship…and you had to travel 1 or more jumps in nullsec…by stargate, do you just blind jump through them with a Billion + of cargo?

So, you’re saying for the reward to risk ratio to be ‘correct’, a gank must cost more than the loot or kill was woth. Ummm… mission running costs less than the mission gives in reward. A fully fitted gas huffing Venture costs under 20 million and makes around 20 million ISK per hour. My C3 ratting Tengu costs under 500 million ISK… I make about 100 million ISK an hour doing that. The Nestor I fly for C5 ratting fleets cost about 750 million… it took less than 5 hours to recover that cost.

You think that the reward for suicide ganking should be less than the risk while all these other activities have a much higher reward than risk.

Congratulations, you just admitted you wanted to end ganking… and you call yourself pro-ganking. I told you anyone could see past the veneer. I didn’t think you would shed it so fast though.

Not only do you lose the debate, you proved yourself a hypocrite and a liar.

All the ships on the kill cost more than the ship ganked? I only looked over 1 ganker ship that was worth over 3 mill. So around 65 million to kill an empty freighter. Must of had a bone to pick with that guy to kill and empty freighter because why else would they gank a ship with no loot?

You said more than the kill or loot was worth. The kill was worth zero ISK to the gankers, and cost non-zero ISK to execute.

And I don’t care about the reasons for it, you demanded an example and you got it. And you’re still ignoring the fact that you have the burden of proof here and refuse to meet it.

Perhaps he was violating The Code.

Just because I am a member of Goons does not mean I play the game any differently than I said. I have never ganked a defenseless ship, I have never shot anyone that was not red and if they are neuts, I have never shot a neut in high or low sec. So sorry to disappoint yea but yea, I play it like I talk. Goons happens to be the biggest mining and industrial corp in the game. Do they have gankers in Goons? They sure do but I am not one of them and the kill board will prove that. Would I take the sides of goons in this debate of more risk for gankers? No and in fact many others in Goones feel the way I do and the way the rest of you pro gankers feel.

Ok you can have that one but there has to be something more to that kill. Lots of questions abotu that kill mail.

@Brisc_Rubal - do you know this guy?

Look man my ideas I had, had nothing to do with taking ganking away from the game. It was simple stuff like no docking or gate right untll you get that security standing up. Jail time that worked with the IP so that the ganker could not avoid the risk. NPC defending a player that is in positive standings with them. My newest idea was to use the bank CCP created and stick all the loot in the bank for 24 hours so the defenseless ship can have time to round of his friends and try to keep the loot/bank out of the gankers hands. Not one of my ideas would end ganking of make it hard to gank at all. So if you cant deal with a someone tossing out some simple ideas, maybe EVE isn’t the game for yea and maybe you should stay away from the forums because the forums is supposed to be a place where new ideas are shared.

If you can’t handle high sec ganking in its current incarnation, maybe Eve isn’t the game for you. You need to make high sec ganking made harder because you can’t handle it. You’re weak… hull up.

Its pretty obvious who is crying here… and it isn’t the guy who knows how to debate.

Ya know i still want my question answerd…would you or would you not blind jump thru nullsec with billions of cargo from stargate to stargate?

but now im interested in thes other things as well…

How would a jail system work? what do you have in mind?
And why would I have to be affected if i was a college student in the dorms or living in the same household as someone else by that someones elses actions? IP address…really?

And what bank are you talking about??? ESS…that is for nullsec, was really always for nullsec or at least it was not deployable in HS…and it is for ISK not loot…seriously?

your ideas are not simple…and the jail thing…yeah you cant just say jail time…you have to give a credible example of how such a system might work.

“I don’t want to remove ganking, I just want to overkill nerf it until nobody does it anymore.”

Your dishonesty is impressive. Unfortunately your ability to defend your case is not.
