Removed Gamebar, now computer is doomed

Hello. I built my PC myself. When I installed Windows it said, what will you mostly use this computer for? A million fools like me told it, games/internet… Well, you won’t mind a covert gamespy, er, gamebar…

But I cannot open Adrenalin since purging Gamebar with a powershell command. In fact I re-tried just as I type and the icon disappeared out of the system tray when I clicked it but get this… So I go to the website to do a new install. Installer runs to a time out. It cannot connect for the download. I let the installer through the firewall, no difference…

If I cannot update my graphics drivers, it will be a matter of weeks before I cannot play a game or a video on this computer without wiping it clean and reinstalling which nobody wants to do.

If I was capable of using Windows 11, I would be qualified to use Linux.

So if any kind sister or anybody happens to know a quick way out of this wormhole, I am definitely stuck with it at this moment.

Why would you not be able to update your drivers? Just download the drivers from the respective website, uninstall the current drivers, restart, install the new drivers, done.

Plus, why would you not be able to run a game or video? I do not update my graphics card driver in months and nothing happens.

Uninstalling the drivers first could be the genius advice I needed. I’ll post the result later.
