I feel it only fair that people who have used this exploit should have it removed so they are back to where they were before.
The Moment when NPCs in CCPs game like what you do, but CCP dont. ^^

I just want to get Trig standings. I donāt care about Edencom standings and I donāt want to exploit. I saw you can shoot drones to get trig standings so I did a few sites. Twice I got some uptick standings, but most times I didnāt. Im in a frig. I just want to know if I can continue to do the drone sites, or if I cant. Actually for this purpose - to get Trig standings so I can get my ships out of Vale. People talk about exploits as if everyone knows what it was. Shooting just the towers and stuff? I would be murdered or my drones would be killed, Iāve got to kill everything. Itās a kind of yes or no answer - it should be plainly stated.

Iād like to report something.
Iāve started shooting EDENCOM ships,
which hung out at the gate into the site.
A Muninn and two claws. My hurricane defeated them pretty easily,
I gotta admit that, but the 0.003 standings increase really isnāt worth the time invested.
This makes zero sense. EDENCOM is -10 towards the triglavians,
compared to -5 to the Drones, yet one gains far more by doing the even easier drone sites.
Independent of that:
Do we actually still gain standings from running these sites properly,
as CCP SledgeHammer said they should be run?
Edit: Half an hour later and no standings increase from the drone site.
Iām going to try one moreā¦

So CCP āfixedā it.
They completely disabled Ring Hordes (you got faction from the turrets) and removed the standing gains from drone hives in everything.
Cool and all except those that live in the drones just took a pretty big hit because hordes both the super and sub-cap site of choice (drone version of a haven) ā¦and two supers can run a -1 true sec system dry.
Or I was miss reading the 10 empty ring hordesā¦with nothing to shoot.

Because I made it to -10 with diplo 5 exploiting right CCP?
Now they broke it since we donāt get any standings at all.
ā¦ and whatever you donāt grind the drone sites, because cherry picking drone sites in your search for chips to turn in for SEO ship blueprints apparently is considered an exploit.
The exploit was simply to cherrypick structures in drone sites and leaving said drones alive, before moving to another site. If you cleared them entirely, you were not exploiting whatsoever.

Look someone finally explained the āunintended methodsā - I guess Iām safe running drone missions & anoms because its the drone horde sites that have the exploit.

@CCP_Convict So apparently after the DT fix, rogue drone sites outside of Pochven now give no standings at all, regardless of what you shoot in them. Can you confirm this is working as intended?

Lots of sites. there are guides on youtube for how to maximize isk bounties, how to maximize loot, how to maximize LP, etc, but yeah definitely lots of drone sites where you shoot one thing then leave, or shoot the triggers only then get the prize and leave

I think we should all get standings from destroying drone npcās regardless of mission or anomaly.
What consequences do your actions have? You are still able to access all of kspace. You may need a travelceptor or a cloak through some small handful of systems, but you can jump those gates. By running sites in the space that you inserted yourself into you are able to mitigate even that penalty. Those of us outside are unable to do that from where we live.
I am fine with consequences, but consequences for a single side is bad. I am fine with rewards, but rewards for a single side is bad. Before you suggest it, this was not a clear-cut victory for the Triglavians: EDENCOM has more victories than losses, by virtually any method of counting. This was a qualified victory at best. They are not dominate over all of empire space, and Fortresses (while not preventing players) supposedly are now locked to the Triglavians, and in grater numbers by far than what the Triglavians took from the empires.

That goes for EVERYTHING - The trig invasion, the gate shenanigans, ore changes - everything. I find that a large chunk of players in this game are completely ignorant about current events. This is the game that still had people auto-piloting thru Niarja weeks after it fell. There is nothing that actively directs you to pertinent info. CCP makes no real effort to proliferate information. There needs to be a popup, stating the importance of the information first and foremost, that requires an acknowledgement that you read it to even log in. There would at least be no excuse for ignorance moving forward.

If this latest update, them INTENTIONALLY screwing over Caldari systemsm the entirety of this triglavian nonsense and their constant display of incompetence wasnāt bad enough PR I doubt they care about a few angry reprimanded players.

@CCP_Convict is/were the drone fleet sites around the t-space wormholes bugged also?
I ask as on day of T-Space separating from K-space I was guarding a hole for fleet that were grinding on the other in nullsec. Every tick i gain a -0.003 rouge drone standing and a +0.001 for edencom and trig, between each tick i would say i killed solo @ 4-6 waves of drones and accompanying battleships and super carriers (depending on wave).
Even the fleet was surprised by the amount of drone wreaks (roughly 10 pages of overview scrolling), they were surprised that for all the death and destruction i only gain 0.012 standings for 2-3 hours of near nonstop pve combat.
So will anything be done for this sort of issue?

Actually because he cleared the whole it isnāt by what @CCP_Sledgehammer has said, if you destroy one-two structures and then leave site to do another is an exploit.
Clearing sites completely isnāt exploit as you are spending the intended required time to gain the standing tick.
But do you kill the drones as well? If not then you could be classed as using the exploit.
