You do know that this is likely to boost trit values right? As a guess anyway.
Which means that solo highsec miner is going to get buffed, not killed.
Terrible. Stop punishing miners and industrialists in null sec. Who would have thought eve in 2020 would be like this. Jump Freighters full of veldspar. Y I K E S. Why are you FORCING me to go to hi-sec to mine veldspar?
Probably anyone who played EVE before 2013 and actually used supply routes from highsec for their Trit.
i believe what you will see is a fleet of orcas coming out of whâs from null sec and cleaning out entire systems.
Wow, minerals will be harder to come by and space will be emptier with all these people leaving? Itâs like a dream come true!
/NotSarc
i did play the game before 2013 and good few years more this is the most radical and detrimental change to hit eve and ill be honest im not a miner im solely pvp mainly tho costs of my ships and the cost to my rl wallet is what im afraid of
As someone who both runs both a highsec and nullsec corporation, please please please reconsider this.
This is bad for everyone and will NOT fix any of the issues it is targeting. CCP really needs to be more transparent and listen to the CSM more. We elected them for a reason, and in many of the recent changes the CSM have been vocal that they DID voice concerns often unanimously and were ignored.
Stop, reconsider, listen.
Please. If EVERYONE in the CSM is saying something is a bad ideaâŚit might be a bad idea.
CCP has no economist on board currently, and the combination of that, and the increasing tendency to ignore CSM entirely is really showing.
The update you are referring to was made because of how awful it was to have veld trucks running back and forth from null industrial hubs and high sec, and if it werenât for rorqual buffs after that things would be fine now.
Came here to say âIn before âreeeeeeee!ââ but it appears Iâm too late.
I believe youâve made a mistake in the asteroid DNA table. In several rows you have 0 values for the mineral along with a negative value shown. So, what exactly are you trying to say?
try getting a dev to explain =buy plex first then wait an age if ever for reply lolzz
So true. I guess itâs just a resource shortage excuse used by CCP.
Oh no, Imagine that, trade between the areas!
The update was made because Null wanted everything on a platter locally and CCP gave into the idea of farms & fields without considering what that actually meant to the overall game.
The CSM represents us, in many aspects of game play. Inevitably we may disagree with some of those representatives. I believe most, if not all, of our CSM members have the general health of the game as their main interest.
They have no more power than the rest of us, on these or other forums. Their only real prerogative is a direct line with ccp devs. That they are smothered in NDAâs and blocked from communicating back with us is not helpful either. What we, players, say on forums is monitored by at least a few visible CSM members (Brisc, Mike, âŚ) who probably take that as part of an assessment of the thoughts and emotions within the community to inform ccp. That is already more than most other game communities are allowed to do.
Doesnât seem to be enough for a community like ours, and certainly not for changes like these. Thatâs not new, unfortunately.
No amount of feedback would be enough for some people in this thread, because they havenât even read the Dev blog properly. And some people struggle to understand the difference between âListening toâ & âResponding toâ. And also donât get that just because no change happened they were actually listened to.
Itâs more likely to hurt the guy who tries to be a vertically-integrated industrialist in highsec.
Thatâs⌠what I was afraid of.
This phase right here was a great chance to attempt a change like that, or at least make it officially part of the way forward.
Why wouldnât we just base our orcas in highsec, in EDENCOM minor victory systems w/that sweet, sweet 40000 trit per minimum refine ore?
I mean, Iâve been working one of them all day on a small fleet of alts to build up a massive stockpile of the ore for when it goes in.
No disagreement there.
Iâm not entirely sure if thatâs a bad thing though, to some degree highsec probably has too many people trying to do industry.
Eh, did you watch the stream? CCP gave a master-class in âhow do I bungle evasive non-answers and make it obvious Iâm not answering the questionsâ.
Pretty good demonstration of ânot listeningâ, right on live TV.
