Fair enough, can’t argue with that, to approach the income you can get by pumping some real world money into plex to sell probably can only be done (in hi sec) through Jita.

BTW, anyone noticed yet, that you lose money when buying stuff with LP in the new stores?
The Empire ship restrictions suck.
I’ve seen mention of that in other threads yes.
I think it is the first time skins have been sold in an LP store.
But they aren’t permanent and you have to buy a junk fit ship with them.
250m for a wash off tattoo is pathetic.
No ones gonna bother with resource wars as many others and myself said when it was announced that it was a terrible idea especially with it being hi sec only and not having any good rewards.

A quick fix would be to just add the SKINS on their own to the store and allow them to be sold on the market. Volatile SKINS sound like a good LP and isk sink to me.

It’s supposed to happen with some rats, various dev posts / release notes said it would happen, well, I’m sure I remember reading it somewhere, so it’s not like it started happening all out of the blue with no warning… learn to read / pay attention? 
iirc It’s something drifters have been doing for ages so it’s not exactly new.

The new npc’s that come with the Pirate Forward Operating Bases (including the patrols they send out around the solar system) will pod you.
The npc’s should have a diamond in front of their name.

Are they like mining fleet responses then? Do they drop anything or are the roaming NPCs just a nuisance with no value to kill like lancers.

I noticed the isk cost at the lp store is higher then the rewards market value. Is this something that will be changed? A lot of players are telling me its not worth it to do mining expeditions so its really hard to find a fleet.

The problem is they spawn player manufactured items made from minerals out of thin air, so giving them out cheaper would kill that profession and sandbox aspect.
The only possible solution is to stop giving out regular T1 items, especially the ships, but only reward stuff which can’t be obtained elsewhere like in every other “normal” LP store.
As said before the whole concept of RW is an alien body to EvE. It requires a complete rework.

As much as I am enjoying them and profiting from them, I am inclined to agree, though less of a complete rework, and more of a significant overhaul. A lot of the things done with them make me wonder how even a mentally challenged developer greenlit it in this state and balance.

Absolutely WORTHLESS loyalty point rewards. (The only thing in the entire game with a negative isk value.)

Combat ships serve little to no purpose compared to mining ships. (This is even further promoted by bonuses to rewards for using even more mining ships to do it faster.)

You can do these 4-7 man group contents solo for the first several tiers due to weak npcs.

How do people find each other to team up for these Resource Wars? Or is it mostly corp groups (for the higher tiers)?
If there is no platform yet to find each other i suggest making a channel (per region or a global one). This way grouping will be easier, more accesible for newer players and we can exchange tips, tricks, advice, fits,… etc.
anyone up for this?
Hopefully ccp will boost the reward, cuase i think RW is a nice concept for teamplay.

@E_Prime Ther is already a channel for this, been around since day one… look under the player content folder in the channels directory and you’ll find the RW one!
