Prior to the t3c change highsec was overrun with them running sites, between their scanning bonuses, huge tank, and good dps they were just a no brainer.
And the sites were not balanced to face t3cs.
As such t3cs were shutting newer players out of the content because they could scan and run the sites so much faster than anyone else with no downsides.
The change was made to force thinking about fits, risk and having to make decisions about what your fit will be strong in.
You however have provided no reason why to revert this change beyond “because I want to use them”
Devils advocate here, T3 cruiser wouldn’t even be the easiest ship to run these in. If some idiots want to curtail themselves making less isk in a ship that could easily run higher end sites I say let them.
Your 900 DPS Gila won’t have the scanning capability of a properly configured T3. Your 900 DPS Gila is just fine to use in those sites because you will either need to refit your Gila between scanning and running the site, or use another ship to scan it down. T3s don’t suffer from that limitation.
Stratios is probably a much better choice overall TBH; you lose some time clearing the site, but you save time docking to refit* or swapships.
*or you save the hassle of carrying a mobile depot and two fits.
Dude, that’s like an insignificant point. I have sister probes on nearly all my pve ships. It might not scan down a sleeper cache, but it can scan everything else down.
I’d love to see this sustained 900 DPS Gila fit… Unless you are counting heat and using officer modules I don’t see how you are making it.
And you still scan slower even if you have sisters probes, you might be able to scan everything down given some time and fiddling with perfect scan skills, but that doesn’t mean that it’s not a cost because of no scanning bonus.
The forum is full of hypocrites and people who proudly support things and can’t see how their bias creates a double standard that others can see. I don’t care if I get banned from the game even. People generally treat each other less than human on here.
Also, I ain’t whining. I’m literally treating people like how they treat me and if you can’t see it Merin, then you’re one of the people I described above. You disrespect my post by calling it whining because you came in with a bias. I keep responding because you people keep responding. Stop responding and I’d stop as well. Also, if you sit here and tell people to HTFU and generally come off snobish shouting that they’re crying and all sorts of false things, don’t be surprised when people respond in kind or worse. If you don’t like people talking down to you and generally treating you like ■■■■, don’t do it to others. Oh boo hoo, I offended you. Now respond.
Please feel free to continue to be rude, hateful and offensive, that’s up to you.
3,4/10 can be done in any decent fit cruiser and battlecruiser. If you wish to be rude for the sake of being rude, then by all means feel free to do so.
I do them in t3 destroyers and the baby mach. They ain’t hard, but it doesn’t make sense to bar t3 cruisers from them. The reasons like because they can scan well or are op aren’t valid reasons for barring them as even my cynabal can scan them down and still do them pretty quickly, and that’s even without an actual tank. It basically boils down to what Bronson said. Eve ain’t fair and these changes were done strictly because people were whining it was unfair. That’s a double standard.
