Eve policies should protect Eve environment equally, but taking away BS Bonuses, whilst at the same time, enabling policies where the Rich Multiboxer can in one day gat up a full fleet of gankers, just by paying some PLEXES; It’s widening the gap between the rich and the poor in EVE. Less and Less casual players that may get one-three moth Omega a year, are playing the game. Because all blingy toys we invested have been neglected love by CS policies, and made an easy target for all gankers of all of Eve galaxy.

Eve policies are severly skewed in favour of these lobby of players, that thanks to the power of plexes, can multiply their numbers, and buy CSM votes, to screw rich targets, like Marauders, over and over.

The Brief moment T2 BS had a chance at surviving ganks, people like me invested in Marauders again, after years of losing them and trying to find a cure to this massacre that seemed to have no end.

And Eve policies do not cover Marauders loss by multiboxx gankers.
I would create a policy that every Marauder ganked explode 100%,
leaving nothing to gankers, so MAYBE they will stop targeting them. ANd at the same time, give them back that 100% Bonus that has been taken away because of Multibox whiners that suddenly had no more access to easy cash, with minimal effort.

THese are EVE policies?

Holy cow man, please just give it a rest. You lost that marauder because of your own errors. Eve’s game mechanics and FC’s development practices had nothing to do with it. I fly my marauder in missions all the time and have no issues at all.

Accept the fact that you screwed up, learn, do better and move on. Last thing we need is yet another thread of your complaining that FC is in on some grand conspiracy to wreck your game because of…reasons.

I voted CSM because they could represent me, and my category, most of which is Veteran that do not even buy Omega anymore, bc it finds no interest in flying T1 or faction BS, when they trained years for their Marauders. Policies needs to change, and CSM is the place where someone have the power to make these proposal.

So you are saying this is not your fault for creating Paper tank Marauders?

You are saying it’s not your fault for enabling easy MTC Multiboxing with just a bunch of PLEXES,
like in one day a new toon can create a complete new Multibox ganking fleet?

You are saying that is not your fault that Marauders and B.OPs have been neglected the basic 100% bonus all other BS have, and that was not a complete cure anyway, it just gave solo players a small % chance of surviving?

You are saying that it’s not covered in your policies, but at the same time, you are actively
taking away honest players their most beloved ships from the game by completely ignoring every
call to make them more resilient, and a bunch of Multibox whiners are more important to you than the EVe ecosystem as a whole?

You create the policies, thw policies should be made in order to protect players like me
that invested in expansive ships, survived ganks when the plate bonus was on, and when repelled
without our voice being even heard or questioned, those policies should remain the same?

I’d say NO my friend, the policies should be corrected, and all MArauders ganked by Multiboxers in HS should be refunded completely, because your policies quietly failed at protecting us.

And the vast majority of players did invest billions in Marauders because suddenly your policies seemed to reflect our feelings about the Paper Tank issue of Marauders, with T1 ships having sgnificantly more EHP, and branding “Active tanking as the solution”. Which never worked in a real case.

THis is a complete failure of your policies and you completely fail to admit it.

I worked hard in order to get that CN Bastion, for a whole month I grinded.
How many times I used my Marauders in all these months?

Maybe three times.
Because I know the moment I undock, 15 shadow gankers appears out of nowhere and pick up their next Marauder victim. Why Do you think it’s that?
Why 99% of my missions must be taken with a T1 Abaddon?
Cutting in four-five my isk per hour output from 100mil to sometime not even 20Mil an hour?

This is your policy in action.
So the very least you could do is to replace my lost ship.

At least I can still watch it take dust in my collection!

    This is a policy of pure Greed that should be scrapped, the bonus reinstated, and the trolls and CSM ignored.

    You are also calling to do all this by myself, when mutiboxers that thrive on your new policies, quietly decides what we should have or not.

    Why not rewriting EVE official policies so we Marauder pilots don’t have to bend over and over all of our belongings to a bunch of criminals?

    They still take 4x the time to make isk than Marauders, so they stay collecting DUST. This is the direct outcome of having corrupted CSM accepting isks for lobbying for the Multiboxers gang that one day saw their “easy juicy target” receiving some unexpected ability to fight back.

    This is all on CSM, and Fenrir writing their policcies.
    I will have no isk left by the end of the month by using T1 BS bc time to end missions is 4-8X and cost of everything else had doubled.

    I wrote in the CSM forum.
    Enable a policy that makes all Marauders ganked content explode,
    so no scoop, no recover. Bastion reacted like a nuclear explosion also killing everyone in the radius of 25 Km with the power of a Titan Doomsday. No more loot for gankers. Zero out their incentive to gank us out. Take away they juicy targets.
    And have different mechanics in different systems, when Multibox Marauders gangs together. Deny them that power.

    These are real policies designed around equilibrate Eve.
    Take out the 100% bonus in Null and Pochven.
    Leave it just for HS.

    Policies are made to protect the already rich, and casual players need to gring lv 3 missions, in Alpha, bc no-one will pay Omega at this point, to male the same amount of money, that is 1/10 of what a Marauder can do in Omega.

    CCP, Fenrir needs to change their policies and comes in Aid of us that are still here, until we are here, and the rich guys will not have us completely scooped out like a monkey brain in an Indian resort.

    FYI i make 2.5 Eur/h., part time.
    The Divide is real.

    Next year I will probably have no savings left for even one month of Omega.

    Btw, an Auto-Destruction, Doomsday like, high slot bomb, that triggers when the ship explodes, would wipe out even the passive members of the gang ready to scoop out the loot. Or it could be enabled in the Bastion Module itself when OH it, which now do nothing.

    These are all real policies.

    Untill then, you should look at your policies, recognize they have been a massive failure,

    and rimburse me 100% of my loss.

    Then change the policies and enact the new wave of policies that will have a short wave of
    downwards incomes, but soon, you will see that rich people will find new juicy targets.
    They will move to null.sec, where there is actual risk vs reward.
    And that shirt dip in income, will start flying again, but this time to NEW HEIGHTS,
    because people like me will recognize a change in policies like that and you will have an influx of veteran and new players.

    It all starts by admitting your policies are to be scrapped and reimburse me.

    PS: Other than Marauders in HS i’m 100% sure that an auto.destruction device with Doomsday like power, would be abuse of made avail. to anyone that is not flying Marauders in HS.

    So calibrate well your new policies, so not to leave holes that could be easily exploited, and cause a massive backlash.

    1: Redisign Marauders that will get back the plate bonuses ONLY if flown in HS space AND not in a fleet.

    2: Redisign how Marauders explode in HS like a Doomsday device that vaporize eveuthing, by adding the auto-destruction mote to either

    A: A new smartbomb like module for high slots kust for this task.

    B: Instead of OH the Bastion would enter Auto-destruction mode and vaporize all ship content and every ship in the radius of 25km with a blast of 100K DMG. So even T3 cruisers and tanked haulers would get vaporized. Punishing the gankers.

    C: Negate any 100% plate bonus in other then HS or in fleets.

    D: Change the Bastion so now faction bastions would see their cycle reduced to 3s.
    Still only for HS and no fleets.

    E: Step back from the active tanking and change the Bastion bonuses to a further resistance increase, that might work bit like the reactive Armor, with 3s cycles to adjust. And give a further 100% Total EHP Bonus across all Shield, Armor and Structure.

    F: Gates now kill suspect gankers on the spot in passing through a 0.9 or 1.0 system.
    So if they follow aguy from a 0.9 system into say a 0.5 (Inaya) They would get vaporized at the gate. I.E. Automate kill rights in these HS systems so CONCORD can freely engage.

    Do the same in 0.5 systems but reduce the response time a little, still provide actual policing for suspects with available kill rights. CONCORD should automatically scramble when in presence.

    E: Block mission gates from entering alien pilots, that have not agreed to the mission.
    Just give one time keys to the pilots that expires when the mission is over, and if he needs help bc is stuck, it can share the key with anyone in its contact, without making him part of a fleet. It can be a complete stranger, willing to pass by and rescue you in a stuck mission in exchange for cash. Device a mode to share gate keys so gankers can not freely use mission gates at their will. Maybe could add a mini-hacking game at each gate, so gankers will need a dedicated ship to unlock gates, and not make it completely impossible.
    It would give players time to see on D-SCAN potential gankers fiddling with gates tho, and program a warp off, before it’s too late.

    These are all well thought policies.

See, four non CSM commented negatively without ever reading what this is all about.
This is not just a Marauder loss.
It’s the complete failure of CCP-Fenrir policies used to “equilibrate” the game in the past 5 years or so.
Taking away power from people with less resources, and gifting it to the most influential ones, for short coming income gain.

But a massive reputational loss. And Veteran players loss.
This is about Eve policies and how EVE CSM do not care the slightest what the actual playerbase that voted them needs.

PS: When they’ll have hanged your last neighbour, because his dog was barking too loud, ad you did nothing, just know that the next in line it’s you, so lower your phone ring tone…

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Maybe think about what you did wrong? How many times have you been ganked in the system sense 2013..? and you havn’t thought to change something..? You are choosing to run right beside jita… The biggest player hub in the game… where alot of gankers also hangout… not surprising your experiences.

So a few blingy ship losses have manifested into mismanaged company policies. Am i reading this…and a couple other threads correctly?

This is an obsession thats gotten to a height ive never seen before. And i thought all the exordium threads were entertaining…this has grown beyond that.

I cant wait until the next thread and the continuing adventures of the greatest pilot that ever lived.

Marauders weren’t nerfed because of multibox gankers. They were nerfed because they were too effective in fleets, and ironically in large part because of pochven multiboxers using them.

You seem to haven’t understood it. This is about me to shut up. If this had been implemented already, i would likely not have seen this thread and thus would not have seen a need to actively get it out of my list or to post something.

@Queotzcatl Your beginning to remind me of a corp mate way back when who could not, and this guy was an actual combat vet, could understand why you should not armor fit a shield ship. While you’re not that bad, you’re coming close. So many have tried to help, why cannot you learn?

I fought for the Marauder buff.
It went one day, and everybody was happy.
Then, a false flag operation, an excuse, and the Buff was off again.
I have fought enough wars to have learned to never give up a fight.
I suspect, some Eve devs have declared war on me, and in their spare time, try to bring me down.
Do you need other reasons to not give up this fight?

A sheep will never learn what is to be a Bear.

This is pretty common. I mean he is just crying for buffs. That is harmless. Usually the miners are threating with killing us or wish cancer to our whole family. Or ingame they threathen with powerful friends from nullsec that will teach us lesson (they never do). They mock us for how unskilled are we that we must do what we do, they swear at us, they sometimes even throwing racist or homopbopic slurts. It is happening very frequently.

Some players are so mad that they completely stop doing what they were doing (hauling, pve, exploration, mining) and starts antiganking the ganker who got them 24/7. There is a guy who is doing that for more than year lol.

Too many peoples who can’t handle losing in this full loot non-consensual PvP game.

The idea is to add an Auto-destroy Switch, then pump up al resist to 99.9%, and give time to swap out all costly modules to the escape frig, with +3, 4 warp strenght. Make a big EM Burst of five secs, that make all ships lost their targeting abilities, expel the frig ship, to the safe spot provided, then Auto-destroy the ship, with all content, and like a Smarbomb, kill anyone inside 50km radius with a 10k Doomsday sound bomb feature. All gankers and their helpers dies. You can even come back afterward, and loot their wreck.
Locked in safety MTU unit, there is all that remained of value that your frig could not take. Just put it in the same space of the frig, and when the moment come, the ship will know to expel your ship during the burst, explode, then expel the MTU that only you can open, with what remain of value.

This is something beyond Bastion.
AN Auto-destruction High.power Burst-ECM, and then mini-Doomsday device (not allowed in Fleet formations).

Then, beside this, any donation to my in game char : QUEOTZCATL
of anything from 100isk to 0.5B isk, would greatly help me fund my efforts at trying to stay in the game, notwithstanding the oppressive
nature of the gamers involved in it.

Nothing moved, your ability to make isks went down.
Prices tripled or quadrupled on mostly anything you can think of.

And it seems they reached a point to put us against one another.

Can you make an insurance company that is able to deploy it’s own mercs fleets, and provide actual full insurance protection for a price?

I’ll try to keep this fairly succinct but there are a few incorrect things being said in here

Rich CSM Agenda

There is no “CSM Agenda” let alone a rich one, as every single CSM member is thier own person who ran for the position to put forward things that are important to them.

There are many CSM Alumni like myself, Oz, Mike, and Kshal (amongst others) who have actively campaigned for changes that hurt richer players in order to give poorer and new players a slightly easier footing in the game

And Eve policies do not cover Marauders loss by multiboxx gankers.

This policy covers all ships lost to ganks, ganks are normal gameplay and do not get reimbursed

May i suggest killing the enemy or fitting in a way that reduces either the chance of being targeted for a gank, or that will actively help you survive it, instead of putting forward a suggestion that punishes players for playing the game

There are no policies to “equilibrate” the game, there are policies about reimbursements due to bugs and server issues, and there are policies about banning people who break rules, thats about it

You seem to be under the impression that the CSM set any policies for reimbursement or bans, they don’t

This is incorrect, Pochven had no bearing on Marauders using the role bonus, speaking as the CSM who worked with FC on Pochven we literally found out about the marauder nerf the day that the patch notes were ready

Marauders lost the role bonus because they never actually should have had the role bonus in the first place, and the same thing applies to the blackops ships

The role bonus was specifically campaigned for by another CSM, @Stitch_Kaneland , who specifically campaigned for it to be put on T1 battleships only as a way to bridge the gap between ships of the same weight class, as back then the T1 battleships were so expensive that there was no real reason to use them over other battleships

For whatever reason this ended up being applied to the T2 battleships aswell, which has now been corrected

I will also add that ganking is a mathematical equation for gankers, they scan your ship to determine your ship and know exactly what ships to bring to deal with it, a role bonus to marauders did not change that, and it certainly wouldnt have changed the outcome for your golem that used T2 multispecs and a single LSE
