At age 21, Stephen Hawking was diagnosed with ALS and was told that his life expectancy was two years.
He lived for those 2 years, and then another 53 years on top of them.
In the meantime, he proved among other things that black holes emit radiation and that the universe started with a singularity, and wrote one of the best selling science books ever. He was a guest star at Star Trek and The Big Bang theory and was a voice actor for The Simpsons and Futurama. His chair and the voice synthesizer that allowed him to move and communicate were a inspiration to thousands who have to struggle with ALS and other disabling diseases.
Stephen Hawking was a hero in many senses. He will not be forgotten.

So much agree that some kind of tribute or monument to Stephen Hawking must be implemented in game. Who knows, some of the principles behind the lore technology of EVE may be extrapolated from his theories.

One of his colleagues e-mailed him to say:
“Steven, I read your theory about there possibly being an infinite number of parallel universes. Does that mean that in one of them, I’m smarter than you?”
Hawking replied “Yes. And in one of them, you’re funny”.
