Just to clarify, there’s an important difference between listing or modifying an order—which I believe should remain free—and an order actually executing, where a fee makes more sense.
Electronic Shelf Labels are about to change that.
Currently they have to have an employee go out and chance a shelf label, but soon they can all change the price remotely.
When order listing and modification are free, players will trade outside Jita—there’s no risk in trying. Removing those fees could revive other trade hubs.
CCP doesn’t want to revive the trade hubs.

Imo Mining Surveyor should include a disclaimer: ISK/m³ is an estimate, not a guarantee.
Do you need a disclaimer to tell you water is wet?
Do you need a warning that your package of peanuts may contain nuts?

Blocking people who disagree with you is certainly a way to interact with the community…
I don’t block people just for disagreeing with me. I only use it for accounts that are consistently toxic or harassing.
