The meek may inherit the earth. They are welcome to it. But in New Eden it will be the most cut throat and a willingness to fly over the exploding spaceship of the meek. And I will be there to sell both the ships, modules, and ammo. As I am as cut throat as any ganker or any merc evicting a corp from a J-Space.

All those people that openly support multiboxing do defenitively live in another mmog world than i do…..massive multiPLAYER online game not massive multiACCOUNT online game. One PLAYER , one account, everything above that and getting caught doing it should only lead to bans for ALL accounts. This is the way i was socialised in games since i first played games and this is the way it should be. THIS mindset is the real cut-throath. 
The mindset that it is ok that ONE player is set to be able to do things designed for GROUPS by using multiple accounts is the contradiction in the sole idea of an mmog….bottom line…..
NOBODY should think this is just ‘okay’ because it’s NOT, not even close.
Mmog are about COOPERATION, about doing things TOGETHER and not about sitting alone in your room and basicly STEALING content(and loot) from players that follow the idea of a mmog…. point clear?

I’m all for anything that gives me an advantage in the game. And if you don’t like it I really don’t care. I’d ask can I have all your stuff….but I doubt you even have any.

Does this mentality come with 5 year pig iron plans and a wonderful Trabant for all ? All I sense is proletariat envy and the reduction of everyone to a ‘communal’ level..,..because you can’t bear that others can afford more than you in the game. Admit it…Comrade Uta…that’s what its really all about.

Well, I refuse to bend my schedule around a video game. I have real life obligations that require my attention. And as you all have made it abundantly clear, EVE is not a game you want to be playable AFK.
So if it would anger you all so much to have it possible to go 5 minutes without pressing buttons as a miner, then you have no choice but to find a way to cope with the fact that I’m going to multibox to get the most out of the limited play time I have.
I will not cancel my real life obligations just so I can group up on someone else’s schedule. Two accounts at once will always be my play style in this game.
Deal with it.
P.S. I actually use 3 accounts. The third holds all of the corporate assets and only logs in to do admin stuff.

Personally, I have no problem with multiboxing. CCP allows for it to exist as a legal playstyle. For those that can afford to indulge in it. Good for them. Botting is not legal as is RMT. CCP will ban anyone found doing this. On that I will report.
Just because I do not understand the rationale for multiboxing. Making it easier to mine? Seriously? But anyways. Just because I do not understand the rationale does not mean I am against it. I simply recognize it as being legitimate playstyle.
MMO’s are fin large part about cooperation. In a large part you are right. But it a lot of MMO’s also about competition. In Eve Online. You are competing, even with your own corp. brudders, for the same Isk. That is why paranoia can be really off the charts when it comes to trusting even the members of ones corporation.

You kind of have to multi-box if you’re an Orca pilot. The ship itself is extremely boring to pilot during a mining session. There’s literally nothing for you to do. You turn on your buffs at the start of the mining session, and…. turn them off at the end. Sure, you can send out drones, but they’re not going to do much even if you sacrifice all of your tank for drone augments (which is dumb considering that your tank is the only thing protecting the 2,000,000,000 ISK investment that is your Orca).
Multi-boxing a Hulk with your Orca? Now that’s much better! Now if they’d add 2 additional High Slots for Strip Miners, I’d retire the second account immediately!

if someone wants to multibox 20 accounts im all for it, it still pays and puts content out; besides if they want to spend their time ratting thats upto them.

Im curious to know if the ganking would lessen if hs mechanics were more like they were in 2007/2008…. when people greifed and wardecks werent relegated to sitting around jita or ganking citadels… i mean no one hits pos right?
