Rules on naming citadels

(Fujinsu) #1

Are there any rules on naming citadels? For instance, is it allowed to name your citadel after an NPC corporation station, or something similar to an NPC station?

Draw your own conclusions.

In short, CCP will decide based on the phase of the moon and how bad the beer was yesterday, if your name is offensive or not. But nothing stops you from using old name again, suprisingly it works often.

Might I suggest naming it “Uncle Touchy’s Naked Puzzle Basement”.

Not planning on naming a citadel anything offensive. Just want to know if you can name your citadel to seem like an npc station, by giving it a similar name to an npc owned station.

No malicious intent either, it’s just because I don’t want to call it some goofy name, or “Freeport number 5351256” and so on.

In short NO

no if you check contracts, they are full of courier contracts to citadels named for npcs stations to make the person think they are going to an npc station and not a locked citadel. so your are fine.

Naming Policy was linked up above.

As this answers your question I will go ahead and close this.
