Following Taayusaka’s withdrawal, the Federation Navy has successfully regained space superiority over Alparena. Over the past week, reinforcements and humanitarian aid have been landing on the third planet, providing relief to a devastated populace even as limited skirmishes with State forces continue in the system’s space.

Federal investigators, now on the ground, have expressed horror at the aftermath of Taayusaka’s recent operation. Initial reports indicate catastrophic damage to vital infrastructure, with civilian casualties estimated in the tens of thousands and thousands more missing. The Serthoulde Federal District has condemned Taayusaka in the strongest terms, calling the operation a “monstrous act of reckless brutality” and denouncing the corporation’s actions as criminal.

Taayusaka, however, maintains that their operation was a lawful and precise intervention aimed solely at dismantling a sprawling interstellar smuggling ring that local and federal authorities had failed to address. Representatives have downplayed reports of widespread civilian harm, claiming that the collateral damage has been exaggerated and was largely the result of local and Federal forces choosing to resist a law enforcement action rather than combating the criminal elements themselves. Though no formal accusations have been made, Taayusaka spokespeople have subtly implied that rampant corruption within Alparena’s law enforcement agencies is a key reason why they had to step in.

The Alparena III Planetary Assembly has firmly rejected Taayusaka’s narrative, dismissing the claims of a smuggling ring as entirely fictitious and accusing the corporation of fabricating justifications for their devastating assault.

In response, the Serthoulde Federal District has convened an emergency session, where representatives have begun proposing severe sanctions against Taayusaka Eskeitan, as well as the corporation’s client states on Athounon VI, who have recently come under renewed pressure to reassert their loyalty to the Gallente Federation.

A summit of Serthoulde’s sub-district governors is currently underway in the city of Rousseillac on Odamia X, focusing on the increasingly controversial relationship between member states in the Athounon Sub-district and what many are calling an ‘increasingly belligerent’ Taayusaka Eskeitan. This high-stakes meeting was prompted by the recent “intervention” on Alparena III, which saw widespread destruction caused by Taayusaka CorpSec. The key figures in these talks are Governor Jean Bellevaux of Alparena, who sparked the debate, and Governor Matthieu Grenet of Athounon, accompanied by Darmain Kuvier, Premier of Ciel-Huogaatsu and elected representative of the CAPA states.

Two opposing factions have emerged, with Governor Bellevaux accusing CAPA and the Athounon Sub-district of collaborating with a ruthless and belligerent corporation that has launched violent attacks on the wider Serthoulde district and cemented Caldari influence through the Samanuni stargate. On the other hand, the CAPA states, represented by Darmain Kuvier, defended their position as merely a “practical arrangement” aimed at serving their citizens’ best interests, given the altered astropolitical landscape. They too pointed to the new stargate connection to Samanuni, which has effectively placed Athounon on the border of a major Caldari military staging area.

Darmain Kuvier further argued that CAPA’s arrangement with Taayusaka is not without precedent within the Federation. He cited Intaki’s historic Shipping and Security Franchise agreement with Ishukone, which persisted even during periods of Federal military control. Kuvier emphasized that while Taayusaka is closely aligned with Caldari interests, it is not formally part of the State Protectorate on an organizational level and should be considered an independent entity rather than a hostile military power.

Governor Bellevaux dismissed these claims as “outrageous,” calling for strict sanctions against both Athounon and Taayusaka, and even advocating for Federal military intervention to bring the “collaborators” to justice.

While no consensus has been reached, two polarized camps have emerged among the governors. Some fear that inviting Federal military intervention could jeopardize their own autonomy, while others worry that appeasing foreign corporate influence could lead to just the same, with the concern of losing local control over their affairs being a dominant issue.

Governor Grenet and Darmain Kuvier reassured undecided governors, reminding them that Intaki’s “liberation” occurred for unrelated reasons, pointing out that the agreement with Ishukone had expired long before Federal intervention.

As the debate continues, the faction in favor of CAPA and maintaining current relations with Taayusaka seems to have the upper hand for now. However, the deciding votes rest with Odamia, Serthoulde’s most populous system, with 5 sub-districts among its multiple habitable planets.

The final vote on the issue is expected to take place in the next few days.

The highly anticipated vote on the legality of Taayusaka’s operations in Athounon and proposed sanctions against the corporation and the CAPA states was violently interrupted earlier today when a bomb was discovered in the Palais du Parlement, the sub-district headquarters on Odamia X. The assembly had been called for tonight, but just before the scheduled time, a security drone detected an IED hidden in the main chamber.

Authorities responded swiftly, evacuating all attending sub-district governors and government officials as EOD teams converged on the scene. The IED was initially reported to be on a timer set to explode 15 minutes into the scheduled assembly, however, the bomb was triggered prematurely by a secondary remote detonator during the disarming process, leading to a tragic explosion that claimed the life of EOD specialist Lt. Antoine Lefèvre. The blast caused extensive damage to the main chamber, shattering windows and tearing apart structural components of the historic building.

No organization has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, however, independent investigators reviewing footage of the scene have reported similarities between the bomb used and similar devices frequently employed by Serpentis-affiliated groups in the Syndicate region, raising concerns about a potential connection.

The attack has left both political and security tensions high. The vote has been postponed as authorities assess the damage and investigate the source of the bombing. The governors are expected to reconvene at a later date, with enhanced security measures in place.

I live in a neighborhood with a bad reputation because of drug dealers who do their business there and today I saw soldiers with outfits that didn’t have the Thukker tribe symbol on them, maybe they are part of a private military company. Do you think this has anything to do with the stories about the egger who is currently investigating the station and that he has been given permission to send his men to arrest people? Do you think they might start investigating or arresting people on other stations in the system?

Under heightened security measures, the long-anticipated vote on sanctions against Taayusaka Eskeitan and its client states was held today, with the final ruling determining that the corporation’s operations and services are neither illegal nor warrant sanctions or Federal intervention. The decision, which came as a surprise to many political forecasters, allows Taayusaka to continue its activities in the Athounon Sub-district and throughout Serthoulde without facing punitive measures.

The vote breakdown by sub-district was as follows:

  • Alamel – 1 For
  • Alparena – 1 For
  • Arderonne – 1 Abstain
  • Athounon – 1 Against
  • Mantenault – 2 For
  • Mercomesier – 1 Against
  • Odamia – 1 For / 4 Against
  • Reschard – 1 Against

Total: 5 For vs. 7 Against

This outcome dealt a major blow to Alparena Governor Jean Bellevaux, who spearheaded the effort to impose sanctions on Taayusaka for its brutal law enforcement operation on Alparena III. Governor Bellevaux expressed deep frustration with the ruling, particularly toward his Odamia peers, which he claimed assured him of their support before the vote but ultimately shifted their stance. “It is both disappointing and disheartening to see that after pledging their backing, the Odamia governors decided to turn a blind eye to the suffering of our people in favor of corporate interests. I fear that allowing this injustice to go unanswered will come back to haunt us all.”

Reactions to the vote have been mixed across the Serthoulde District. In the Reschard-Athounon corridor, which has enjoyed most of the economic benefits of Taayusaka’s presence, residents expressed satisfaction with the decision, believing that the legalization of the corporation’s operations will help maintain peace and prevent further outbreaks of ground warfare. “We’ve seen enough conflict,” one Athounon VI resident said. “This vote is a step towards stability.”

In Alparena, however, the mood was far more somber. The system is still reeling from the aftermath of Taayusaka’s alleged anti-smuggling operation, which resulted in widespread devastation and civilian casualties. Many locals, including supporters of Governor Bellevaux, voiced outrage at the ruling. “This vote allows those Caldari to continue doing whatever they want! The suffering we endured on Alparena III was just the beginning, it’s only a matter of time until they come for all of you!” one resident warned.

Taayusaka spokespeople, meanwhile, praised the district governors’ decision, stating that it would ensure the security and prosperity of their clients, irrespective of the shifting tides of CEMWPA warfare. “We are very glad that this ruling recognizes that we are working in the best interests of our partners, bringing peace and development to Athounon and beyond.” a representative said. Taayusaka also urged other member states to reach out to a colonial development liaison to book an assessment of their state and explore the potential benefits of a partnership.

Vox Libertas – The Official Federation Peacekeepers Bulletin

Liberty’s Light our Guide

Operation Dawn’s Early Light Update:

After a year of occupation by the Corporate State, the system of Mercomesier was liberated in the early hours of the 28th September FC241/YC126 by Federal Defence Union forces in conjunction with deployed Federation Peacekeepers, after a series of offensive actions that also saw the liberation of the Alamel and Mantenault systems.

All that remains is the final stronghold of State Protectorate forces rallying in the Athounon star system, infamous for being the location of a significant Federal defeat during the Serthoulde Campaign of FC239/YC124, in which the Corporate State prevailed in their construction of a Stargate connection to the Samanuni system and in their overall objective to secure data from an abandoned EDENCOM facility orbiting Athounon V.

Federal Defence Union forces are making significant inroads into Athounon, and it is considered only a matter of time before the system is liberated and full space superiority re-established by the Federation. However, due to Athounon’s direct connection to Samanuni, a fortified redoubt for the Corporate State Navy as well as EDENCOM forces, it is expected that a counter-offensive will be all but inevitable.

Federation Peacekeepers Security Advisers deploy to Odamia:

Federation Peacekeeper personnel have been deployed to Odamia, alongside Federation Marshals and other District judicial forces with the mandate to ensure the safety of the Governors quorum in voting on sanctions against Taayusaka Eskeitan.

Commander Adams, of the Federation Peacekeepers, issued a fiery statement to the gathered crowd outside the Palais du Parlement, following the outcome of the controversial vote:

“This result is nothing short of disgraceful. Those Governors that cast their vote in favour of legitimising the invaders have committed a monstrous betrayal of those that have have suffered through the criminal actions of the Taayusaka Eskeitan corporation, and those of the Corporate State. They have betrayed the values of this Federation – verging on the treasonous.

An attack on one truly is an attack on all of us, and it would seem that this core tenet of our Federal Union has been conveniently forgotten by the Governors that voted against sanctions, or shamefully shied away from by those that abstained. Nothing more needs to be said of the CAPA marionettes, Grenet and Kuvier, dancing to the tune of their Corporate masters.

This travesty cannot be accepted placidly. Let it be known that I wholeheartedly, unreservedly condemn the result of the vote that has forsaken the good people of Serthoulde. The Serthoulde Governors are not the only representatives of the people in this District, and they certainly do not have sole authority to let criminal acts go unpunished. I urge those representatives in the District Parliament to review and contest this decision without delay!”

Commander Adams’ invective galvanised the discontented crowd into a full protest, which remained peaceful but emphatic in their demonstration that lasted for the remainder of the day.

Tensions are escalating across Serthoulde following the Federation Navy’s recent reassertion of space superiority over the full constellation. While no Federal landings have been attempted on Athounon VI so far, the atmosphere on the ground remains increasingly uneasy.

The rejection of District-wide sanctions against the Coalition for Advancement and Prosperity of Athounon and their primary corporate benefactor, Taayusaka Eskeitan, has sparked unrest, with numerous vocal groups pushing for a reexamination of the issue in the Serthoulde District Parliament.

At the forefront of this movement has been Edward Adams, CEO of Nadire Security Consultants, who has become an outspoken critic of both CAPA and Taayusaka’s growing influence in the region. Adams has called for an urgent review of the situation, arguing that the decision by the majority of sub-district governors was a “monstrous betrayal”.

Supporters of Adams’ stance have organized rallies in several locations in Alparena and Odamia, calling on representatives to revisit the failed sanctions vote and impose stricter measures on the CAPA states and their benefactors. Many of these groups see the Federation Navy’s growing presence in the system as a hopeful sign that Federal authorities are preparing to take a stronger stand against what they view as an encroachment by foreign powers.

In response to the unrest, CAPA and Taayusaka Eskeitan have presented a united front, rejecting accusations of corporate overreach and reiterating that their operations are carried out with the full, informed consent of all involved parties. A joint statement from CAPA states emphasized that their agreements with Taayusaka are entirely within the bounds of Federal law and that these partnerships have brought significant economic benefits and stability to the system’.

Taayusaka spokespeople dismissed the growing calls for sanctions as politically motivated and grounded in “misunderstandings” of the situation. “Our operations in Athounon VI have been crucial in stabilizing the planet and securing prosperity for our client states,” one representative said. “All actions are performed transparently, with legal and regulatory compliance. This is not a case of corporate overreach but one of practical governance in an otherwise contested system.”

When further questioned on Mr. Adam’s accusations, a Taayusaka spokesperson offered the following response:

"Taayusaka Eskeitan stands resolutely behind the recent vote by Serthoulde’s democratically elected sub-district Governors, reaffirming their partnership with Taayusaka and the CAPA states of Athounon VI. We denounce the inflammatory and baseless accusations recently made by one ‘Edward Adams’ in the wake of this historic vote, whose personal grievances have led him to undermine the legitimate decisions of Serthoulde’s leaders.

Mr. Adams’ claims, branding the governors as traitors to the Federation, are not only unfounded, but dangerously misleading. His aggressive rhetoric, rooted in personal vendettas, seeks to discredit the lawful, transparent operations of Taayusaka and harm the relationships that have brought growth and stability to Athounon. It is important to note that Mr. Adams has a well-documented history of hostility toward our CEO, dating back to long before Taayusaka Eskeitan’s founding, which continues to drive his erratic behavior and reckless statements. His public attacks, rather than focusing on facts, appear to be motivated by unresolved personal issues- issues which have no place in responsible governance.

The Governors of Serthoulde exercised their democratic right when they chose to continue their partnership with us and our clients. Their decision reflects the will of the people, who have benefited from the stability and essential services that Taayusaka has brought and continues to provide. His suggestion that these governors have “betrayed” the Federation is a baseless attack on the autonomy of Federal member states, and it disrespects the sovereignty that is fundamental to the Federation’s founding principles. The people of Athounon VI have seen direct improvements in their infrastructure, security, and prosperity as a result of this partnership. To dismiss these achievements as the work of “corporate masters” is both insulting and false.

Furthermore, it is important to highlight that Mr. Adams’ judgment has long been compromised by a range of personal issues, including a history of substance abuse and unchecked anger, which has manifested in unpredictable and violent public outbursts. These issues raise serious questions about both his judgement and his motivations in making these outlandish claims against Serthoulde’s elected representatives. Despite these attacks, Taayusaka remains fully committed to operating within the bounds of Federal law, and all of our activities in Athounon and beyond are conducted transparently and ethically. The accusations of criminal behavior are entirely without merit and have never been substantiated by any credible investigation. To reassure the District Parliament, Taayusaka is open to cooperating with any impartial inquiry into our operations. We welcome the opportunity to demonstrate our adherence to both Federal and international law and to further expose the baseless nature of these accusations.

We urge the District Parliament and the people of Serthoulde to reject this divisive rhetoric. These unfounded grievances, cloaked in false moral outrage, serve only to destabilize a region that has thrived under the partnerships we have built with local governments. The governors who voted against unjust sanctions have done so in the best interests of Serthoulde’s citizens, and their decision must be respected as a reflection of those citizens’ will. Taayusaka Eskeitan will continue to provide critical services to our clients, fostering progress, stability, and prosperity. We stand ready to work with all parties who are committed to a brighter future for this district."
