SableStar Refining Complex Accepts Expert Intervention Assistance Following Attack on Reschard II Facility

Expert Intervention has announced a new ad hoc security agreement with SableStar Refining following an escalating series of attacks on the Reschard II Refining Complex. The NOH subsidiary has submitted several requests for greater cooperation with outside agencies as a part of their investigation into the Torchbears of Liberty and their suspected link to a professional dissident network active in Serthoulde. SableStar Refining marks their first significant breakthrough in creating a regional partnership focused on sharing intelligence data and augmenting corporate security forces to curtail terrorist activity. Expert Intervention analyst Iwasada Akabata stressed the significance of this deal, and the security contractor’s willingness to take lead in the investigation while SableStar’s corporate security forces are given time to consolidate-- with SableStar granting unprecedented access to any internal systems and communications necessary to enable their new defense partner to act as they see fit to prevent further attacks.

Industry insiders speculate SableStar’s financial losses due to the Torchbears of Liberty to be significant, no doubt motivating the firm to collaborate with Expert Intervention after the Federal Garrison failed to defend the Reschard II chemical plant for the third time in as many weeks. This security agreement has been met with condemnation by the Reschard Governor’s office, who characterized it as a rash display of political theater to force the Federal Garrison to commit more resources to defending SableStar production facilities at a time where protecting administrative centers and logistical hubs from attacks remains the Garrison’s top priority. “If they mean to have the Federal Garrison subsidize their internal security over guarding population centers from incursions by the Guristas and the State Protectorate,” the governor’s office stated, “Then opening themselves up to collaboration with a State military firm isn’t the way to go about that.”

SableStar’s Chief Operations Officer Emiriq Bradmon was quick to respond in kind, reiterating that Expert Intervention had approached the chemical manufacturer first due to a mutual security concern over OBJECTIVE BACKWASH before adding “No one wants to be the next Armand Fournier.”

Republic Counter-Insurgency Outpost Hub

A conversation overheard by dock workers between Talon Commander Michael Minate and Corporal Benshikell Onren, an officer working on the station.

“Good afternoon Corporal, I have obtained small and medium sized SCARAB Pods as well as a Small Breacher Pod Launcher. My team has been researching the virtuality of the Launcher as well as the Shriker Genome. We have also asked some questions to the former Upwell workers whose infomorphs were in the virtuality I obtained. We have compiled everything into a report that we will forward to the Republic Command and the higher-ups managing the counter-insurgency operations.”

“That is great news Commander, but if I may ask
how did you obtain these Pods and this Launcher?”

“Sorry but this information is confidential.”

“I understand, I hope it will be useful to us.”

“It will be, it’s easy to be afraid of the Deathless Circle but if we study and reverse-engineer their weapons then we will be more and more equal to them in terms of capabilities, although it will take time and effort. By the way, I am currently conducting tests to see if it would be possible to create MCCs capable of deploying Shirkers for defense or attack operations that would be admittedly short but potentially very effective.”

“I see, I assume you are conducting these tests in your new colony at MHC-R3.”

“Indeed, I originally intended to make it a research center for precursor related AIs and a place of exile for Shakor’s political opponents but it could prove useful for all sorts of military tests.”

“By the way, what will happen to the workers’ infomorphs?”

“I’ll help them cancel their contract with Upwell, and I’ll offer them to stay at the colony to be safe and relatively free on the condition that they are cooperative to test the Shriker clone abilities and give us more information on the Deathless Circle.”

“Besides, I heard that the trip to MHC was quite
 complicated.”

“Indeed, between the blood raiders near the Hek hub and the pro-Amarr capsuleer who blocked the passage in Gallente space it was complicated to bring the colonists there, some even abandoned the project. But at least the colony is starting to develop, the opponents were transferred there today and the research on AIs and the use of Shrikers as planetside soldiers has just begun.”

SableStar Chemical Industrial Contamination Revealed by Whistleblower

An anonymous source close to SableStar Chemical has revealed credible evidence of a massive industrial contamination incident at the company’s Alparena warehouse. SableStar is a major manufacturer of pethidine and pethidine analogs, synthetic opioids used in both military and civilian applications across Serthoulde. Under safe laboratory conditions, these drugs provide a cheaper and more reliable alternative to medical grade boosters while freeing up more effective high-grade pharmaceuticals for priority patients. According to internal memos leaked to Caldari State media however, improper handling and a rushed transition from besieged chemical production facilities in Reschard upstream to Alparena caused industrial contamination leading to the formation of MPTP compounds in pethidine-analog doses.

1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine (abbreviated as MPTP) can be accidentally synthesized by improperly heating the tertiary alcohol intermediary during production. Once injected MPTP crosses the blood-brain barrier where it’s metabolized as the neurotoxin MPP+, also known as cyperquat. Once metabolized the substance begins to attack dopamine-producing neurons while creating a toxic build-up of free radicals leading to rapid neurodegenerative damage. Cyperquat is still used as an industrial herbicide as well as a military defoliant by some elements of the Royal Khanid Navy, State Peacekeepers, and Federal Defense Union on planets with a cyperus biome. It has long been criticized as a de facto chemical weapon in violation of the Yulai Convention.

It’s unknown how long SableStar was aware of the incident, nor precisely how many of the doses from Alparena had been contaminated. While many shipments have been traced down or halted in-transit, hundreds of “hot-shots” remain in logistics hubs and may slip through administrative cracks without full accountability and proof-of-custody. SableStar is estimated to have delivered approximately a hundred thousand samples to military and civilian hospitals across Serthoulde while several dozen cases of neurological damage from exposure have already been reported-- Including multiple Federal Garrison outposts and at least one maternity ward.

Chief Operations Officer Emiriq Bradmon originally attempted to place blame for the incident on the Torchbears of Liberty for forcing a rapid transition to Alparena before tacitly implying without evidence that the organization played a direct role in contaminating pethidine shipments. When asked to elaborate at a shareholders meeting, he allegedly cited a thwarted chemical heist several days prior while accusing Expert Intervention of failing to properly identify if the shipment had been tampered with before retrieval. When Expert Intervention attempted to follow this line of investigation and arrived to question Bradmon however, they discovered that the COO had taken their own life by a self-inflicted gunshot wound and ingesting a lethal dosage of Crash resulting in massive cardiac arrest. The incident, as well as Expert Intervention’s role in enabling SableStar’s negligence while failing to thwart Torchbears of Liberty attacks, has served to permanently undermine PKN’s influence in the region and reputation as a reliable partner with organizations outside the Caldari State. According to the NOH subsidiary, all samples recovered from last week’s heist showed no signs of tampering and were reportedly disposed of following its return to SableStar custody according to their own internal security memos.

Taayusaka Representatives Invited to Athounon VIII for Unprecedented Meeting

In a surprising development, the Kingdom of Isendral, a constitutional monarchy situated on Athounon VIII, has extended an official invitation to Taayusaka representatives. This marks the first significant interaction between the corporation and any polity on the eighth planet, where Taayusaka’s activities have previously been restricted to sporadic resource surveys and orbital patrols.

The royal palace has not disclosed the agenda for the meeting, but analysts familiar with the region speculate that King Drenault Vallerien may seek the corporation’s assistance in resolving a dispute with the colony of Tessille, a strategically significant island settlement that has recently motioned for independence. Tessille’s demands for self-rule have sparked tensions across the monarchy, with fears of unrest spilling into neighboring regions.

Should this speculation prove accurate, the move would signify a significant escalation in Taayusaka’s involvement on Athounon VIII and could set a precedent for other local governments seeking similar corporate interventions.

Taayusaka has yet to issue a formal statement regarding the invitation. However, their representatives have confirmed that preparations are underway to engage with Isendral’s leadership in what could be a transformative moment for the planet’s political landscape.

Taayusaka Cultivars Promise Agricultural Renaissance Amid Controversy

Taayusaka’s agrochemical division has announced the availability of its latest cultivars for purchase, marking a major milestone in their ongoing research to adapt native organisms to the planet’s ravaged ecosystem. Among the successful additions are Strathgrain Wheat, Sunvine Grapes, and Voltra Maize, each designed to thrive in Athounon VI’s challenging new environmental conditions.

The cultivars were showcased in a public demonstration earlier this week, with Taayusaka highlighting their potential to rejuvenate barren farmlands across the planet. “This is a new era for Athounon VI’s agricultural industry. This development represents not just recovery, but resilience in the face of adversity.” said a corporate spokesperson.

Despite widespread enthusiasm, some farmers have raised concerns over the seeds’ Genetic Use Restriction Technology (GURT), which renders crops infertile after the first generation. Critics argue that this effectively ensures Taayusaka’s monopoly over seed sales in a region where the ecosystem has already been significantly altered by their operations. “They’re selling us a lifeline, but it’s one we’ll have to buy again every year.” remarked Felix Orend, a farmer from the Belletere region.

Supporters, however, were quick to dismiss these criticisms, citing the urgent need to restore food production. “We have nothing left to plant,” said one farmer during the demonstration. “These seeds will bring life back to our fields. What’s a yearly cost compared to that?”

The debate over Taayusaka’s methods is unlikely to quell public demand, with reports already indicating high pre-orders for the new cultivars.

“Commander, sorry to interrupt you but I have important news.”

“Wait a minute sir, I will try to come back to finish the tour but it might take some time. What’s going on? Did we discover a new Jovian structure? Did we suffer a new attack?”

“No, the Circle released Vanguard technology to the general public. It seems that several freelance mercenaries have adopted this technology and have deployed on nullsec planets where Upwell assets were targeted by rebel militias and a planet in the Raihbaka system has had its defenses infiltrated and made vulnerable by the Deathless, Vanguards working for the Guristas and Mordu’s legion are fighting for territorial control of the planet.”

“I see, it seems that Vanguard blanks are less augmented but cheaper than other types of warclone blanks so it is likely that we will see a proliferation of independent warclones using this technology and also probably a lot of pirate warclones helping the Deathless, maybe that’s why he released this technology. We should try to obtain this technology, bring it back to the PAIRC for testing and comparative studies with Shrikers related technologies and bring some here too.”

“Alright Commander.”

“Wait
I just had an idea, I would like the cybernetics and biology team to try to create a clone of myself that would be a Vanguard instead of a capsuleer, if we transfer a backup of my infomorph into a virtuality and then into a Vanguard blank I assume it should work.”

“Why would you want to do that? You could just hire another Vanguards instead.”

“Sure, I plan to do that too but I also plan to make it so that “I” can act directly on planets and stations without necessarily having to recruit people, it could be useful for certain missions requiring utmost discretion and loyalty and where it would be risky to hire other people to do it.”

“Understood commander.”

There are rumors of a Vanguard that is as augmented and powerful as a warlords era warclone that roams the areas targeted by the militias. It is also rumored to wear Minmatar medium and heavy frame dropsuits and spending time exterminating militia forces like a slaver hound hunting frail slaves escaping from their masters. It could be an experiment to test the degree to which Vanguard blanks can be modified.

BREAKING: JSL Workers Militia Deploy In Force At Raihbaka

Workers militia belonging to the Storm Peaks Policy Trust faction of the Caldari State have deployed in force on Raihbaka II and III, forcibly relieving some Mordu’s Legion field officers. Supported by JSL-affiliated capsuleer militia groups, including a contingent of expeditionary forces made up of State Peacekeeper veterans, workers across Raihbaka have taken up equipment and arms to beat back regrouping Guristas forces. One militia group member, calling herself “Ghostbird” gave the following statement to KIRJUUN! from atop a burnt-out Gunnlogi assault vehicle.

"The workers here are done sitting on their hands suffering the indignity of Mordu’s Legion barely dragging us over the victory line while using clones made by the same honorless dogs that have been pillaging Black Rise for more than a year. This whole crisis was made worse because of the Legion’s inability to keep Arkombine in check, as well as Upwell’s negligence employing parties that we now know are an associate of the Deathless Network. We could abide the Old Man’s thinly veiled favoritism for Ocean Faction and his ideological kindred in Ishukone. But this last year has shown how far their ineffectual liberalism and limp discipline will go to damage our internal security. If you don’t believe me, look no further than Intaki. Look at occupied territories in Pochven. Look at Bloody Myrskaa. Look at the fall of our homeworld, and their failure to police it. We respect what he did for the liberation of the State from the frogs back in the day, but the man is clearly diminished and out of touch with the will of our people. For the last decade everywhere the Legion takes up arms, it stinks of defeat.

“If they’re going to keep fighting here,” she continued, “Then they’re going to need to cede some control of the operation to the legitimate local authorities in the Mountain Faction, and some combat roles to the labor-nationalist All-Mountain workers militia. What we lack in comparison in firepower and experience we make up for in resolve and political education. Mordu’s Legion is willing to make strategic retreats and tactical sacrifices if that puts them in a more advantageous position. It’s not their land so who cares if the Guristas are allowed to plunder the countryside? We at the workers militia however have a simple rule we all adhere to-- Not one step back.”

Taayusaka Eskeitan Secures Agreement to Quell “Tessille Rebellion” on Isendral

After intense negotiations between Taayusaka and Isendral’s royal court, King Drenault Vallerien has announced an agreement granting the corporation the authority to intervene in the ongoing “rebellion” in the island colony of Tessille. The week-long discussions, notably attended by Taayusaka CEO Remilia Malitia, have culminated in the deployment of Taayusaka CorpSec forces to the kingdom’s outskirts, where they are establishing a major staging ground in collaboration with the Royal Engineering Corps.

While Isendral’s PM and members of Parliament were notably absent from public announcements, their offices released statements commending the monarchy’s “dedication to national stability.” However, sources within Isendral suggest this initiative came directly from the crown, with little input from parliamentary representatives. The exact terms of Taayusaka’s contract have not been made publicly available at this time.

Renegade Colonial Governor Silvain Dradaud, the leader of the Tessille separatist movement, issued a fiery statement following the announcement:

“Vallerien’s desperation to maintain his strangulating grip on his colonies has led him to invite foreign mercenaries to turn on his own people. Tessille’s struggle is not an act of rebellion, it is the pursuit of dignity and independence from a crown that no longer serves its subjects. We will not be cowed by hired guns.”

Dradaud also called for international support, though no significant response has been reported from other Federal member states. Analysts predict a swift and decisive campaign given Taayusaka’s overwhelming technological and logistical superiority.

While some Isendral citizens welcome Taayusaka’s intervention as a means to quickly restore stability, some have expressed unease about the prospect of the corporation’s involvement in their domestic affairs.

Tensions Rise Over Bellevigne’s Decontaminated Lands

The decontaminated territories formerly in the Bellevigne Exclusion Zone have become the center of a heated territorial dispute between the state of Qucrain and several rural settlements that have long resided near the zone’s border.

President Proulx submitted a proposal to annex the revitalized territory, citing the state’s capacity to manage the land and integrate it into regional development plans. “Qucrain is well-positioned to ensure these lands reach their full potential, both agriculturally and economically,” Proulx said during a public address.

The contested territories, once uninhabitable by the aftermath of the Bellevigne invasion, are now fertile and primed for redevelopment. Taayusaka’s recent introduction of genetically modified crops to the local markets have sparked a wave of agricultural revitalization, further heightening its value.

However, multiple rural communities, some of which have existed for generations, argue that they are the rightful stewards of the reclaimed land. A spokesperson for the village of Trellan, accused Qucrain of attempting to “bulldoze over smaller communities that endured the hardships of corporate warfare, nuclear contamination and isolation while others ignored us.”

Taayusaka, which carried out the decontamination project, has taken a firm stance in favor of Qucrain’s bid. A corporate spokesperson emphasized that Qucrain’s advanced infrastructure and CAPA membership align with their long-term development goals for Athounon VI. This endorsement has added fuel to the controversy, with rural leaders accusing the corporation of sidelining smaller communities in favor of their clients.
