I would argue you were very unlucky with your first corp. It sounds like you were ‘guided’ straight into an extreme risk averse care bear mentality.
My first corp encouraged me to head into low sec from day one, and taught me the skills (and some fits, although I mostly cobbled those together myself) needed to not get blown up immediately.
Eve rewards game knowledge, risk management and (calculated) risk taking.
Ok by now I just think you are either incapable of reading or comprehending a long text. I think the classic miner approach is the best way to go here. If you absolutely must mine or do things in Highsec, make sure to ask your local Agent for advice, he will help you comply.
No, I have just met a broad spectrum of CODE. agents. Each preaching something different as “the Code”. Which is why I was asking You which version did you mean as “the code” to follow. I hope that clarifies it.
PS. I need no help or compliance with anything in my High Sec activities just understanding how things work in here will suffice, thank you.
Just read the Code and the rest of the minerbumping blog posts and you will be well equipped for everyday Highsec. It just sounds like you are looking for a compression of the Code into a single sentence and that is not how that works. You have to follow all of it.
I’ll repeat myself last time - I have seen three different versions of “the code” preached by different agents. and I was asking you to clarify which one was “yours”. And You did provide that clarification by referencing internet resource, and everything after that is just You trying to take jabs in weird directions.
I already linked you the Code => http://www.minerbumping.com/p/the-code.html . There is no other Code. The manifests James 315 created predate the actual Code and inspired him to start this whole journey to safe the miners from themselves.
For sure I will now be able to dig up logs from chats from 2016
I mean maybe I could dig them if not for the fact it was 3 PCs ago and countless re-installs and I am not that kind of a guy who’d backup all the logs for eternity…
(still kind of pointless talk at this moment - I’ve got my answer I was inquiring you for, so I’m not sure why are we even still here)
Well since it turned out that there isn’t actually any evidence that someone referenced “some other Code”, can we just conclude that there always was that one Code? I have been with CODE. since almost back when it was founded, so I can guarantee you that there always was the same Code and it was with one exception where CCP participated in a minor revision it is still the same as it was back when it was first written.
But what is in said written resource and what was being preached by a number of CODE. agents does not exactly add up
It ain’t rocket science bro, I’m speaking simple English here.
(Including but not limited according to some of CODE. agents just a concept of mining in imperial space is utmost heresy in itself requiring punishment in a form of suicide gank - such agents used to roam systems in close proximity of vattuloen system around 2016)
Much as CODE is relevant content I have always wondered how bashing newbs helps the game.
Which takes us back to the original question regarding how easy Catalyst Ganks are. If you’ve spent 3 months busting your butt to get your first Rattler, & it doesn’t even make it past Uedama ( as an example ), then will that then see you quit the game?
As for risk/reward CODE is bored Null-seccers. Always was. And they are not short of ISK.
Which takes me back to how you’d check to see if newbs are being over-farmed by bored Null-seccers.
Why is the discussion always about newbs? It is like the politicians - whenever they want to pass some stupid law, they always have claim that it is somehow “to protect the children.”
Your post is nothing but your personal imaginings and assumptions. Code is not all about “bashing newbs” and we are not all “bored nullsecers”
Because they’re assholes willing to use any fallacy necessary. Worse, they’re the same assholes who want weak, dependent and obedient children. If this reminds you of religion and the thought, that this nonsense mostly comes from people from the US crossed your mind, then you’d be spot on.
There’s a reason why pretty much all of these people, who beg for protection, can do nothing but begging to a higher power.
