Season's Greetings from Team Talos dev blog discussion

I think what you meant to say was, can go directly to shooting unarmed, defenseless carebears that cant shoot back. Yeah thats what I thought.

Jeep crying carebear. Isn’t there a rock you should be chipping away at?

Isn’t there a capsule your should be shooting, you big brave pilot?

People who never mined in their life are not qualified to talk.
Rorq requires supercap umbrella. No supercap umbrella = NO RORQ MINING. That’s a lot of nullsec, ya know.
I never owned a rorq, deploying one in my space is suicide, only russians nearby are doing it, and they lose them all the time.

Ganktards and their entitlement to free barge kills that other player had worked two weeks to get is much more risk-averse by a long shot. I mean, you can’t even gank when it’s not 100% safe, even after Olmeca, a one-track mind he is, have shown you the way, you just said “nah, not 100% safe, takes effort, we aint doing it”.
Ganktards are the most risk-averse trashes in eve. Deploying a rorq outside umbrella is not a risk, it’s suicide, but they talk like they even know how it is, trashes who can’t even play the game.

That’s your impression of it, because it caters to reducing already non-existent risk for ganktards.
My impression is “CCP DOESN’T WANT YOU, LOOK FOR A NEW GAME” era.

I’m not someone’s free content. I despise any form of effortless ganktarding. If you aren’t ready for Olmeca-level effort, with its non-existent IQ requirement, pure effort, you should be tossed out with the trash, yet you talk like you’re entitled to content just for showing up.

HTFU and start doing something before you tell others to HTFU.

Needless to say, I’m not logging in or subbing until filaments expire.

It’s not like blackout PTSD has let go of me anyway. The feeling of CCP just DELETING everything you ever done in this game and the purpose of even owning space is dreadful. How can I play the game where this can happen any moment?

I would, but you docked up like a coward and are crying about how cloaky camping is overpowered. :frowning:

Ganktard who is sitting cloaked like a chicken complains about lack of pvp.

Uncloak and fight you piece of chicken ■■■■, or stop crying about lack of content if you’re too much of a chicken to uncloak.

There it is! Good boy!

Overall well done so far Team Talos. I’d like to see the Muninn (and HACs in general) hit a bit harder, but considering my only complaint is that you didn’t go far enough on 1/7 changes I’d say this you did pretty damn well. The holiday filaments were an especially nice touch to finish off the year, and can’t wait to see what you have in store for next year.

You are cool guys. But although you tried, one server is already completely occupied. You need to come up with something to shake the rich alliances, otherwise they will conquer everything. I suggest a swarm. A swarm that will devour ships and planets. Destroyed 1,000 ships - built one asteroid base. 50 planetary cycles on the oxygen planet have passed — another small swarm has come out. So that it grows, if they do not fight with it. Everyone will be very happy.

Most people think that CCP’s 500k SP was our Christmas present but really it was Talos and we got it early.

Since people can’t seem to grasp this, no one likes their hard work destroyed. If the players are the ones that destroy it, they blame the players. If the game destroys it, they blame the game and quit. Everyone will be happy, lmao, no.

Eve: Online, the single shard persistent (unless the devs think you’re a bit too powerful) universe. This is where your legend begins (or ends if the devs again think you’re too powerful).

Leave perma filaments. Long time had so much fun in small gang pvp

Filaments should be removed right now. And never seen again.

Just do what you always do against roams and cloaky campers, dock up for 3 minutes until they leave. What’s the problem?
I’ve never seen someone so #triggered about filaments as you.

Updates for Factional Warfare and Wormholes are both a big priority for early in the new year. We spoke about both of these in Vegas but weren’t able to fit them into 2019 so look for them in Q1 2020.

Small note to wormhole connectivity from Eve vegas video.

Increasing spawn rate of wandering wormholes might have different effect than you expect, because they dont have random system where they spawn and random destination where they lead to.

http://anoik.is/wormholes
This table shows both statics and wandering holes, you can see which one is which under “Respawn” after opening specific ID.

For example, C5 space has only wandering capital sized wormholes to HS/LS/NS, so increasing spawn rate of wandering holes would just give you more K-space connections from C5 space, no improvement in connecting to other C5 homeholes.

C4s dont have any wandering holes that spawn inside them (as i have never seen any of these S047, N290, K329 to actually spawn in game), so it would still be just statics, whatever else connects to C4s and frigholes.

C3s on other hand, got wandering hole spawns to all wormhole types, this would make C3s to have much more connections to wormhole space, maybe too many connections…

Frigholes are exception, as they spawn everywhere and lead to everything except HS/LS, but they are very limiting for logistics and PvP, not that desired type of connectivity

WE WANT CLOAKING CAMPING COUNTERS. its been 13 years ccp. We are sick of goonswarm being allowed to log on 50 accounts and permacamping players for 8 months 24/7. We are sick of the same excuse that it ‘‘causes pvp’’. IT causes a massivly unfair hotdrop.

What don you mean by a ganktard? people like code? like just idiots who only shoot when its a guaranteed kill? yeah those guys are cowards
Also

You do have a point about gangs appearing without warning here, but in my experience with filaments, all they really do is take a ship dump on a random system in usually the middle of nowhere, gangs will almost never appear in a hotspot via a filament, so overall, the risk is often the same as it is without the filaments, you’re practically a sitting duck in a mining ship.

I suppose whether you stay or not in the end is up to you.

Lastly, what alliance are you from? I’m curious

Goons don’t cloaky camp, they just boson you with like 10 titans on gates, though you’re right, cloaky camping is pretty much unavoidable in a non nullified ship, it can be annoying for some people, but personally, I don’t really care, but yeah, it could use a rework, maybe like not being able to cloak in bubbles? though that would come with its own issues too.

Goons don’t cloaky camp? They camped kavela expance with 3 cloakys per system for 100+ systems for 5 months straight every day right before the black out. WTF are u on about about goons not camping.
