So then counter it. Demonstrate how itās possible to counter ganking. Gankers tend to talk a lot about how they say itās easy to counter but when you actually see it in practice the most someone trying to counter it can do is make it cost a little more. Since itās already cheap, thatās not a problem.
Please stop telling people to leave. Iām happy playing EVE and giving feedback to developers on what they can improve in my view. Itās not your game, so you donāt get to decide which opinion is worth listening to.

I wonder why people donāt go barging into other MMOs demanding no safe zones and PvP to be enabled everywhere. Seems only fair, maybe because that crowd is satisfied with the two remaining MMOs that are like that, and donāt want it to change.

Itās easy. Set gankers to bad standing. Keep an eye on Local to see who arrives. Watch out for ganker scouts who may provide a āwarp inā for the gankers. Mine above the asteroid belt so the asteroids dont get in the way if you have to warp off. Preferably have your escape station much closer than the distance to any gates the gankers may warp in via. And stay alertā¦not watching Netflix !
If I can mine for a whole year without being gankedā¦anyone can !

It is like asking how you can play chess without risking losing. The miners, autopiloters, etc arenāt asking how to win, they are asking how to avoid all interaction.

Itās not semantics, a counter means you can actually counter the play. What youāre talking about is the ability to run away before it affects you, and that only works if the ganker then immediately gives up.

Ganking is the game. Highsec PvP has been part of the game for years and years. It is the entire basis of ādonāt undock in a ship you cannot afford to loseāā¦in a universe where nobody is safe anywhere in space. Iāve no idea what bizarre game you are on aboutā¦but it sure as hell isnāt Eve.
