Security status effects tethering

Faction police is broken, it’s not like CONCORD that is a terrorist organization but at least CONCORD functions correctly in terms of mechanics

In the other hand, Faction police will poison every possible grid

I wasn’t joking when I posted on CSM about turning it off in certain grids and everybody trashed my idea

Even the gankers trashed the idea and didnt support it
I guess my idea about turnning it off in certain grids is becomming more appealing now that CCP ripped off the bandaid of tether

I guess I had the upperhand in game knowledge?

That’s what insta-undock bookmarks are for. You are already aligned when you undock; and they web before the point, which doesn’t help them any.

Then over there faction police will eventually show up too…the ones on the station will still be there too

it’s like a police spam

Yes, of course. Just like before tether too.

I’m resubbing my gank characters this weekend to see how suddenly the old ways of managing facpo are no longer valid.

There seems like a lot of tears about the changes, but as with everything adapt or die (and many gankers may choose to die and win EVE, which is their right to do).

I have this impression that the Police nowadays points faster than many years ago, idk if i had better reflexes back in the day, but in between EVE breaks i had this impression now that I had a few unjustified losses

In the past I used to call the Police as my web alts

I very much doubt anyone joins Eve solely to watch a mining laser all day. The 100 initially happy carebears will get bored within a few months. I mean…what is their pile of ISK for ? OK so they have 1bn ISK…so what ? With no risk or excitement in highsec…CCP will see a fall in players like it has never seen before.

Mark my words. I foretold it.

There is one more thing about facpo that nobody brought up yet.

I am ganking pods at Jita, since there is no tether, what I do is that I prepared 50+ bookmarks all over the station and bookmarks to get optimal on all arrival points and I just bounce around them immediately. Anyway, each time you warp somewhere, a facpo will instantly show up on the end destination and then disappear. I call this a bug. This bug gives a headsup to potential target and also antigankers who then know where will I land. This might be only case of a “grid”, I don’t know for certain, but it sure is dumb as hell.

So they will insta-spawn at your destination, insta-despawn and then once you arrive they will spawn there again after 3-6seconds.

OMG. So dumb.

That’s probably just lag. For example when I warp to my 500km insta-undock from Jita it never ever visually displays me travelling there. I just find myself there.

Yeah, that’s been around for a few years. Anyone paying attention will see facpo briefly flash on grid before you land. It’s super-dumb.

You would think that being a rat is what this game is all about, scamming players and telling them to go play some other game? The rats of this game shot themselves in the foot.

Actually it’s an open world PvP game where you consent to PvP as soon as you undock

It’s the fact that most high sec players don’t that, which is the problem

Since when have NPC’s done this? Was this a new feature added by CCP in this last patch?

He is probably talking about the starter mission agents that try to convince new players to do mining, missions, and industry. Rather than engaging in emergent gameplay with other humans.

I’m assuming he doesn’t even play the game. Because if they did, they would know the basic terminology concerning EvE specific things.

For example. Rat. A NPC pirate run by the game.

“I saw a Blood Raider rat today in belt V-1”
“I went ratting in nullsec.”

Now my guess is that this person is referring to live people. In this case, “Scammer, Con artist, Ganker, Griefer, knowledgeable-individual-that-knows-more-than-me-but-I-lack-the-self-awareness-to-comprehend-the-dynamic.” Would all work.

Don’t you know PC gankers are nothing more then Rats now.

Sounds like a delusional world you’ve created for yourself.

I refuse to get sucked into it.

Learn the correct terminology or continue to be heckled and ridiculed.

The choice is yours.

So all these noobs can afford a Netflix subscription every month but they can’t afford 2 pence on a new Venture. Hmm.
