“It’s not a true sandbox without social consequences of actions.”
Not sure if you understand words or not, but stuff like no re-docking or tether is not a social consequence, it’s a non-social consequence. It is not something that is being done by players to other players.
Just wanted to know how the new rules are effecting ganks and have you changed what you do in any way.
Please send me a detailed report of your setup now for example, have any of you moved to low sec and then fly to high to gank, please supply the entry system .
Have many of you just carried on as before and undock when you have a target, also if you miss a target and your at -10 how do you wait for a new target as you can’t dock.
And any new way you are ganking, don’t forget times you gank and which sys.
This is just out of interest on how the game is changing and will not be used against you.
ROFL. If getting blapped in a vidya game actually impacts your mental health do not choose to play a game like EVE. Play Animal Crossing. No violence there
And no, they don’t deserve consideration. Playing EVE is a choice. If can’t handle, don’t play.
Anyway, what does empty low sec systems have to do with high sec?
The only connection I can see is that instead of prowling around in low sec looking for kills, all the negative status criminals are ganking in high sec…
I took a trip from 0.9 Vittenyn to highsec Solitude several times, which passes through two lots of lowsec…about 10 lowsec systems in all and there was literally nobody there in most of the lowsec systems.
I still undock with -10 directly from Jita as before. The nerfs simply forced me to gank rookie players as the inability to redock means that hunting capsules is now too time consuming, difficult and annoying. So I rather gank ventures which are plentiful and I don’t have to fly tens of minutes around to find some.
And when I do undock with a fit for capsules I am not picky anymore and shoot any I find even if it is of a new player. Previously I was checking killboard and age to see if it would be “worth” it. Now because I cannot tether and re-dock I have to kill the first I can if I don’t want to fly around highsec restlessly for hours.
So what happens if your home is set to Jita and you self destruct your pod ? I mean, by definition you have to end up somewhere…or is such self destruct now not allowed for -10 status.
