Idk, drifters specifically seem to have literally NO remote repping between their ships anywhere (save for in the abyss once in a WHILE), where their overshield is probably supposed to interfere with that (plugging this thread for the millionth time).
I’d more strongly lean towards throwing in Yan Jung precursor ships eventually, where they’d move into that place - their tech specialties included graviton and force field tech specifically, after all.
