Ship left at Sun

Its interesting. Finding lost and/or deeply hidden items has a certain pleasure. Using d-scan triangulation in Eve is a serious skill. Not useful much anymore now the d-scan basically points you in the direction, but I digress.

11.7 hours later…eeek.

i am UK so my DT is currently midday, I would need to be up at midnight (ish) in order to get to the location and also have to rely on EVE to not crash or disconnect in that time.

Lets say I went for it and I had been travelling for 5 hours and there was a disconnect, once i reconnect would the game put me back to the beginning or keep my progress?

Upon reconnecting, your ship should warp back to where it was located in space at the time of disconnection.

Sorry, was trying to have some fun

Didnt realise you were in today, karen

Why would you use anything BUT the MJD

I was able to get a bookmark in dead center of a star once,
with an interceptor by cross warping deep safes.
I warped my Archon to that bookmark in the star center and it
flung me out at twice the speed of light, sideways. Worse than
any POS shield ever could do. It was amazing.

That was a few years ago. Was never able to accomplish it again.

I’m pretty sure they fundamentally changed those mechanics.
