Heya everyone. I’m currently based out of a wormhole with a nullsec static, and my hopes is to use the wormhole and prode around nullsec for lucrative sites. The best would be able to run up to the 10/10 sites.
I’m still unsure about the ships to use. In terms of numbers, I feel like a 1000 DPS dealt and tanked would be a safe bet to not die in the sites, all the while having some neut resistance. Also, I’ll probably carry refits for the travel fit of the cruisers, and the resistance modules.
Because of my staging, it would need to be able to move around nullsec unseen, which leave two options :
- T3C cruisers. I have the skills for the Tengu and the Loki, and I feel the latter fits the bill better because of its resists and isn’t kinetic locked.
- Black Ops. The jump drive opens a lot of potential, but they’re not the most sturdy ships from what I hear. The Sin and the Widow would be the best, however the first one seems difficult to reach target numbers. On the plus side and outside of any numbers, the idea of a battleship that can jump around is fkn badass.
As for fits, I’ve tinkered a few of them and tested out the Lokis against Sleepers.

HML have the benefit of about 60km of range while tanking 1000 DPS and having cap to spare. But, you’re stuck with 700 DPS. Since a few of the 10/10 is a structure bash that regenerates HP, it might make the fit unusable.

This one gets 936 DPS while keeping the same tank and acceptable cap, but you can only shoot to 30km with Rage missiles. There’s always the option of switching to Javelins though, but that means a measly 579 DPS.

This one is more problematic. First of all, I love the Domi hull, hence why I’m trying to make a Sin work. Second, it’s about an extra billion ISK compared to the above Loki fits.
Third, the DPS and tank varies depending the factions I’d be against, going from 1115 DPS with Antimatter and Ogres, to as low as 767 with Spike and Wardens.
There’s also the weaknesses of MJDing away from heavies to mitigate the room damage, so they’d get shot without being able to avoid damage. And the fact that rails are damage locked to Kin/therm. The tank at worst is 577ehp/s against angel rats, and at best 1165ehp/s against Guristas. Capacitor lasts 3min, but you’d normally be outside of the range after a jump.

And the two Widow fits that would work better than the Sin, but look less cool doing it. Cruises have all the range I’d ever need, and get 948 DPS with them. Torps goes to a whopping 1450DPS with Rage, but only at 36km. They can also do 840 DPS to 97km with Range script loaded.
