Lucas, sometime you are so absurd you sound like a troll. I am mostly a hauler and industrial player, but I love and enjoy that there is ganking in the game. There are absolutely many non ganking people who are happy that ganking is in the game, along with the gankers themselves.
Yes, that is exactly my plan. This gives new bros the excitement of avoiding the gank if they mine or haul. It also gives them the possibility of anit ganking, if they want to cut their teeth on it, and it gives them the opportunity top become gankers if they wish.
Opening so much more interesting competition and making everyone happy, without removing an aspect of EvE that has been here for well over a decade, that many enjoy.
You talk about players leaving the game because it is dull, but your ideas reinforce this dullness and makes it worse. You constantly contradict your self with opposing goals. This is why I am convinced that if you do actually play, you only want to remove ganking because you are a rich, fat, lazy player who wants to move goods in poorly fit ships on auto pilot. Come off it, you are not for the new bro, because your proposals don’t help the new bro or the game. You are a lazy vet, and that is why your proposal only helps the lazy veterans.
At some point we as a community just have to agree to collectively ignore those who wish to constantly derail thread topics to push agendas. Its been several weeks now of the forums getting hijacked/DoS’d/spammed.
We should refuse to discuss ganking in any form.
ISD should delete any post referring to ganking and close gank threads by saying “This topic has long been resolved and will not be discussed in this forum” and ban the member who discusses ganking after being warned twice.
Ganking is part of the game, there is no error or oversight on CCP’s part and it’s working as intended.
You? No. You should be banned for being such miserable liar.
I was referring to other than you but of course seeing how you love drama you have to make everything about you like a 5yo.
You just hold a fluid definition of the facts where you can say smack talk is griefing and griefers should be banned in one post, and then claim you never said that, people just do not understand you in another one.
I’m with you on this 100%. It is clear to me that Lucas does not want to accept the fundamental nature of the game.
The game has always been about risk versus reward and there is always risk, and it’s the players that make it interesting and dangerous.
It’s utterly dishonest and tiresome the way you try to bring everything down to what words ‘mean’. Eve is the way Eve is…regardless of your extremely silly semantics. Eve has always been a ‘PvP Everywhere’ game. It is the very essence of Eve !
If you don’t like that, then go play some other game rather than being an endless bore in this one !
And the game’s premise is, and always has been, an open world PvP game where you consent to PvP as soon as you undock.
Yea it is
ROFL, battle badgers used to rule Hailama bro. I am now seriously doubting if you ever really played much at all LOL.
Course it has Hell, war decs alone used to make high sec burn regularly. It taught newbs what being station camped was
Yennoe what’s funny? When you expose your utter lack of knowledge to this thing you supposedly hate LOL.
Fortnite isn’t P2W ROFL. You literally can only buy cosmetics. I mean one could argue of course that looking cool as you blap people is all that matters.
Also um, you can’t really grief people in Fortnite. Hell, you can’t even really talk to others cept thru emotes and such. Fortnite is a BR yennoe. It doesn’t have the depth EVE has
What I also find absolutely is proof you are a boomer as well, is that your obsession that anyone younger than you must also play Fortnite
Also even more boomer proof, cause most peeps ain’t really playing Fortnite no more bruv, its Valorant
I mean I guess in like 10 years time when you finally catch up and you’ll understand what people mean when they say bark for heals amirite?
high-sec care-bear here that loves all things Amarr and lasers.
I am not against people shooting people in high sec, I just think it should cost the shooter more then the shootie. AKA real LAW and ORDER…aka if you really want to shoot Joey McBoatFace…
At least have a reason better then I want to ruin this noobs day and make sure he quits the game forever… to say say this reason “this guy is delivering supplies to our enemies…we should shot him in high sec and take the hit”
be it isk, spacecops chase you, etc… I don’t care, but gankers in high sec shouldn’t be about profit with basically 0 downsides, it should be more tactical in nature(bounties fall in this) and if your truly a vile criminal you should be treated as such and excluded from high sec stations. currently they get chased by concord…but that doesn’t stop them from docking.

to make this a more interesting choice add pirate faction stations that can’t be docked by High Standing citizens in low/null sec … hell maybe even add more ships to the pirate factions and make them a character creator choice (aka starting out as a Sansha Pirate with a Sansha corvette with -3 standing (aka your high sec from NPC’s mind set is your pirate space, but still not safe from players. but you do have some access to high sec if for some reason you want to go that direction.)
one way of thinking easier access to pirate ships at the cost of high sec access.
maybe the Pirate JITA could form then (although I imagine people would be trying to kill more then mine)
Lucas, we both know that you did, and then tried to walk it back one you realized the implications of what you said. Seriously, everyone in this discussion saw you do. I quoted you saying it repeatedly in the other thread. You only make yourself sound childish when you try to walk back something that everyone saw you do.
Can you quote me anywhere giving any specific evidence that T Elliot is the alt of a suicide ganker?
Everyone who reads these threads knows you just assume that everyone who disagrees with you is somehow just a dirty griefer so they don’t count.
You really need to sit down and take stock of what you say man. Why do you think you get the reaction here that you do?
For the record I have never once suicide ganked, or tried to suicide gank anyone. I have watched MacGybo’s videos on the subject, and I don’t think I have the patience to do it. I have been out doing things when Aiko’s crew flew in to system, and to me it seems so easy to avoid them, I don’t have the patience to do what they do either. I respect the skill the players like MaGybo or Aiko have because I don’t think I could do what they do.
Admit it to yourself Lucas, not everyone agrees with you. That does not mean that they are suicide gankers.
Dracvlad divides the opposition into suicide gankers and supporters of suicide gankers/ganking. This extreme narrowing of the field of vision tends to polarise the debate and sometimes stifles flexibility and fluidity in the discussions, although I did notice that he had grown more objective in his outlook of late.
Of course, Dracvlad would probably claim the same for the pro-ganking side. He isn’t here, so I’ll leave that there.
For me, if I have responded directly to someone in the sub-forum on a particular point, and/or they have responded there or elsewhere, I don’t see any reason to repeat the exercise, except for the purposes of clarification/explanation, or if a further issue comes to light.
I didn’t used to be like that; I was all over the sub-forums at one time. It becomes tiresome.
