It isn’t CCP’s approach anymore to think funding just comes from subscriptions. It hasn’t been for a long time, even before the introduction of alphas. But not being Omega doesn’t mean they aren’t paying money.
it dropped do to scarcity people stopped mining in high sec and went to wh as it still pays more than most HS ores but it also wound up dropping the price. at the same time the amount of gas in the sights was increased meaning its far more passive of an activity now.
