Take a good look at the long-term numbers. I can’t even be arsed to look it up for you.

Trending up since 2022, Uprising and most of the expansions have been bringing the numbers back up to higher than Covid numbers. Let’s look at beyond Covid.
Ten years shows that we are on the way up to pre-scarcity numbers (current lull is normal for in between expansions/events).
All time shows that we are still trending up, Higher peaks, are getting close every peak to the ‘golden era’ you claim to long for. That golden era that made high sec more dangerous than it is now btw. That post invasions/scarcity lull is a thing of the past. CCP has been making good decisions since Uprising (mostly).
If you want more numbers, space needs to be more exciting, not less. Wormholes, less restrictions on ganking and wars, refreshing Faction Warfare, Incursions, etc. Looking forward, we know they are gearing the Empires for expanded conflict, high sec is going to become less safe again.
And what are the numbers now vs then? You just proved my point.

I said this exact same statement in another thread and got called racist. Its the truth no matter how you look at it. I dont know where it came from but this huge misconception about any part of high sec being safe is just plain inaccurate. Its as though they are being taught that its just another NMS and you can do anything you want without a hint of danger lurking about.
If they enter the game and get blown up by a gank….or by any means, that just means that they were just taught a major lesson of how the game operates. Take that lesson and improve. Dont come to this forum demanding mechanics be changed because somebody kicked a little sand in your face.

I use this fit- @Gerard_Amatin gave it to me. He deserves the credit for it.
You need to load one of the shield bursts with shield extension charge and the other with harmonizing. It’s pricey, but not too much so in my opinion. Considering that the Hull cost 2 billion ISK, I say it’s worth protecting. I don’t subscribe to the “spend as little on the fit as you possibly can just to ensure that the ship is functional” mentality. An expensive hull needs to be protected in High Sec.
Note: I only use this configuration when traveling to and from Jita. It’s the freighter configuration. When mining, I use two mining bursts and 1 shield burst with the extension charge. I also trade a medium shield hardener with a shield booster. With max skills and a couple of implants, it overheats to 1 million EHP in Freighter mode. Of course, even in Mining mode- no one is going to go out of their way to gank this thing.
According to Goonpraisal, the total value, including hull, is 3.2 billion ISK. Do not take this thing out of High Sec.

No. Why on Earth would CCP want to do that? Looks like they are working on the boneheaded play of this year. I think we will learn more about the new player area in the months ahead.
Funny thing, just did 1 HS L4 Epic Arc myself. Noone tried to gank me, no combat probes on d-scan, nothing. Guess if you are more then 2 jumps away from all major trade hubs/mission centers you will be fine.

Yeah I think I have seen you in local at some point
You can get a humble Eagle to 510K EHP ( with ADC ). That makes it virtually un-gankable by any small gank fleet.
