Id love it if the Race specific miners become the premier for individual minable resources. one for gas one for ice one for standard ore one for moon ore. while the classics mining ships are best all rounders of the group

If we were in a actual sandbox, any corp would be able to build any kind of mining ship it could design and any equipment on it that it could build. It could paint the ships any way they could imagine. Space would be infinite and uninhibited…
It doesn’t make sense that in the most “advanced” sandbox in existence, we can’t design and build whatever we want. I would contribute to a hostile takeover of the sandbox.
If the associated LP store of a new mining faction would offer cat ears and cowboy hats, who could have anything against that. If they don’t, well then no.
You are asking for the actual attributes of the sand to be mutable to your will.
How on earth would you maintain a balance in such a situation?
The Thucker tribe is not presentat all… why should CCP waste their time in another mining faction? There’s no need for another mining faction.
Thucker could be a pirate faction being a mix of Caldari + Minmatar since we don’t have such mixture yet. Then we could finally have a shield logi battleship.
See? There’s so many blanks to be filled before thinking of more mining stuff.
First of all, it’s spelled Thukker.
Secondly, they currently have positive Diplomatic relations with Minmatar Republic, thus they are not a Pirate Faction. Well, maybe to all the other Factions but definitely not to Minmatar.
Third, if there was a new ship implemented for Thukker Tribe, it should be a mix of Minmatar and Gallente since Gallente is allied with Minmatar…
As for the OP, I see no need for another Mining Faction, having ORE Faction as the Mining Faction for New Eden is just fine.
