Hey welcome to the forum new player! We here at Eve have a neat tool called zkillboard.com that you might be interested in. If you take a look you might notice that I have ganked exactly 0 people, ever. However, that doesn’t stop me from having a basic understanding of how this game works. PVP in hisec has been here since day 1. It’s not going away. CCP does not care if you don’t like it. The people who enjoy Eve don’t care if you don’t like it. I used to think that @Aiko_Danuja sometimes went a little far with her “every carebear needs to quit” speeches, but everytime one of you crawls out of the woodwork to try to restructure the entire game because you lost a mining barge I get it.
Do you have any relevant concerns about capital construction to get back on topic? I doubt it, as everyone who builds or uses capitals has progressed to the point they understand what game they’re playing.
Hardly an argument, since most EVE players have multiple accounts.
When do you lose the jobs that are in progress in the structure. Is it when lose the med structure
Which is fine if all you are doing is hording stuff. What about all the jobs that are in progress in an athanor or Rat that you only have 36 hours to save and one shot to save
sources for that which you have stated?
I mean, defending a mechanic that actively repels the majority of new players brings to mind the word pyrrhic.
source?
Funny, when I was a new player the threat of ‘PvP everywhere’ was one of the selling points of this game that drew me in. Seems like different people can have different tastes.
Maybe people who are repelled by ‘PvP everywhere’ have accidentally entered the wrong place by joining EVE.
A bit like how they also entered the wrong place by starting this PvP discussion in a thread about an upcoming blueprint update.
‘-No-’
Catering to the lowest common denominator is also pyrrhic, especially when your product is not designed for the lowest common denominator.
AshenShugar01 for CSM Well Said my friend. Well said. Just a shame that they wont listen. Its all about the quick cash grab now.
Still not enough for me good by EVE its been fun. But our relationship will be ending as soon as my last few days of Omega runs out. Good luck to you all…
Faction ship BPCs were a bit part of escalation trade and drops. The shortage is actually it’s a byproduct of the BM system they introduced that eliminated easy escalation trading of bookmarks even across hostile space.
I like the changes. I feel like hardly anyone is saying that so i thought i’d at least share my opinion.
Eve is full of angry old vets that complain about how bad the game is but complain about how much worse it is with ANY change.
You could give them all free omega for 3 months and they would complain.
You may ve right, pehraps, but new timer for small structures ll be an holy sh… for people who ve IRL, or small corps. Do you really think big corpos and alliances need more oppotunities than those they already have ?
A player with small gang history(Opuctus Exhilarate | Character | zKillboard) seeing dieing pop and saying that doing things to bring back players and increase new player retention is not nessassarly a bad thing needs to be a hidden message got it. Aka i came back to bash medium structures but understand that players will quit forever after i do it. I do not think that is sustainable gameplay. People need goals and to know that high sec is safe so they can die to me in low, wh, and null sec space.
Because CCP failed in their strategy. So many players quit from the changes and scarcity that CCP had to reverse their decision because the game was losing massive revenue.
LOL you arent leaving. no one leaves eve NO ONE. I feel your pain tho. I have been slowly giving away my assets and isk to new bros i see flying around. Feel free to contract any stuff you dont want to me and i will pass it on to help new players. Anything from 1 trit to a ship i dont care.
PM me if you want.

You’re wrong. Yes, someone really returns to the game time after time, but there are a minority of such. Most leave the game forever.
I myself have witnessed how a large corporation in the Imperium is withering, after changes in mining and ratting a two of years ago.
How the whole alliance in w-space completely ceased to exist. Yes, someone continued to play like my corporation, but over time there were fewer of us and people don’t want to come back.
It’s all sad. Instead of creating something new, the CCP is engaged in endless edits for the sake of large collectives.
About the citadels. As a result, it turns out that it is now more profitable and safer to live on POS:
- cheapness
- installing it is faster and safer
- in case of an attack, he will live as well as the citadel + is able to attack in automatic mode
