I have 8 characters on Omega accounts. Today all 8 got ‘10,000 skill points for 1 Rat kill’. Doesn’t seem particularly RNG to me…
There is a posibility that there is a counter that adds up what every player had during the event and later on in the event it swaps so if you have been getting 10’s all the way then you will start getting 50’s and if you have been getting 50’s you will get 10’s.
It’s a pretty easy condition to write and I feel CCP has probably done this so even thou its random it will balance out when the event ends with everyone getting very similar sp, except for all those who have the bug and are getting 0 exp like my oldest char kenzore 
@CCP_Falcon A bandaid solution I thought of is to reset the event at every downtime, so that chars with the bug won’t be locked out for the entire event but only miss a day once in a while.
Would just be easier to give all the people with a bug sp afterwards.
I’m sorry that you, and a lot of other people, are having a glitch where your task isn’t resetting. I’m not suffering from it (so far) this event, but I’ve had similar problems in the past, including in the early events where we first got skill accels, I encounted some glitches where when they wore off, some of my faster skill training progress was REVERTED… I put in tickets for that and got some free SP back, I suggest you all put in tickets for this stuck skilling spree progress bar as well, and if your ticket gets closed… well, put in another ticket AND put in a bug report, as that is NOT intended behavior.
Oh, but… just because 20 people fell in a puddle doesn’t mean you should threaten to kick 40 other people in the shins so they fall in puddles, too, man… that ain’t a good look. 
Edit: oh, and to Senior Beavis below… true, some events aren’t fixed until they’re nearly over. Others are fixed by Friday when they started on Tuesday. And those events last 14 days usually, so… that’s not the greatest. If they can fix this one within a week of it starting, at least it was a 30 day event.
:::misses the 40 day Shadow of the Serpent more and more with each passing year… now THERE was an event you could take a week-long break from, come back and still catch up in…:::

To those of us with bugs, I wouldn’t hold your breath. Virtually every CCP “event” has been buggy AF and broken for many people; most of them literally never get fixed and said players miss out on all rewards.
update on the dice rolls:
- 0x50k 3x25k 6x10k

finally, on day 3, a “good” balance of rewards was finally achieved for my toons, IMO.
however… break it down by toon:
1a. 10,10,10
2a. 10,10,25
3a. 25,10,10
1b. 10,10,25
2b. 10,10,10
3b. 10,50,10
1c. 10,10,10
2c. 25,10,50
3c. 25,10,10
… and 33% of my population (1a+2b+1c) is feeling a little sore at nothing but 10 rolls so far… while toon 2c is going to go to Vegas for the rest of the weekend thanks to his little lucky streak. DAYUM, man, save some luck for the rest of us, whydontcha!
… also, day 2 was… wow… talk about the rich (1 dude) and the poor (the other 8).
Yeah, once I went over and read that thread (I actually had already, but when it only had like 20 replies… so, fully caught up on the now-much-bigger thread, I mean), saw what you were referring to–that being a player just talking about a dev saying something elsewhere… still, the point being, the dev in question didn’t just come to THIS thread and say it, like… you know, would make actually sense or something.
And also, it wouldn’t have been the first time breaking news happened in some random reddit thread rather than a dev blog thread on the official forums, mark IV (or V or VI or whatever iteration this is up to, I started playing during the old forums but have seen enough threads linked to from the old old forums and then some from the old old old forums… egad)… so while it wasn’t true in this case, it certainly has been enough times in the past.

Still broken after ANOTHER downtime! This is a joke right now!
It’s probably much easier to write a code where the chances of getting 50k is much smaller than 10k.
If the odds are different for each ‘quest’, it would ‘even out’ as well.
No need to ‘keep track’.
As far as I know the program only keeps track of missions received/done with regard to the ‘storylines’. But I dare say it doesn’t keep track which missions you have gotten. Or else I wouldn’t have had such ‘bad streaks’ with regard to storylines in some cases.

Zero SP from “event” so far.

Quick update for you here - we’re aware that there were a few issues where some players experiencing issues receiving rewards from some of the challenges.
We have a fix in place for that now that stops any new occurrences of the issue, however it doesn’t un-stick the challenges for those who’re in limbo.
If you’re trapped without a new challenge, please file a support ticket.
The customer support team will give you the SP rewards you’re missing and will make sure that they issue you a new challenge to unstick you.
Sorry for the delay in response here, hopefully this clears up any confusion.

Glitched on first Day on one off my toons, no reply to ticket.
Can’t send a support ticket as my 2 accounts share an email and the main account is a steam account and when I try log into the 2nd account which is not steam it asks me to enter the linking account but doesn’t give the me the steam logging option.
Does this mean that I automatically loose access to this event on my alt? I miss in game ticket sending made life so much simpler.

Wtf is this. I get 40K SP while others are up to 100K SP.
Edit lets take worst case, which it is for me:
40K sp against 200K sp on a lucky roller…
Equality is overrated.
You get a few bonus SP completing an easy task. Either enjoy the extra SP or don’t. You are not entitled to 50,000 SP every day.
Enjoy it or leave it. Stop complaining, filthy alphas.
