Skills for kills event

PCU has been rising. You have a weird definition of dying.

Posterity

It’s a PvP game, PvP is not an ā€œother approachā€ like in Care Bear MMOS.

Seriously wtf people sit down shut up and watch this.

HTFU

So much damn whining from people of all playstyles. Grow the hell up.

If anyone cares about being called a carebear then more fool them.

Anyway we all live in our own fantasy worlds, based on our own perspectives.

Are you saying that player kills are also counted as NPC kills? Or that PvP players can do a little PvE and not be hurt by that? If latter, PvE players can do a little PvP (in Corvettes) as well.

No the NPC one does not serve ā€œboth communitiesā€. It serves people that kill NPCs. It is unfairly balanced to give PVErs an advantage that PVPers don’t get.

I don’t do the NPC skilling spree because I have no inclination whatsoever to kill NPC rats. I am here to kill other players. (It has taken me 6 years to go from -10 to -3 sec status just from other fleet members killing gate rats on roams) In fact every time CCP sends me a survey about the spree I comment that they need PVP related events for this PVP related game. If they are going to have events give SP for PVE kills they needed to have some that give it for PVP kills as well.

So again, thank you CCP for adding similar rewards for PVPers.

Best one was sp for a login, that serves everyone.

Know how to handle this if all you do is PvE and you don’t have alts?

ā€œHey [corpmate], do you mind if I kill you for that SP reward, and then you can kill me back?ā€

Easy. It’s silly that people find the very idea of shooting another player’s ship such a horrible thing.

I’m sure they didn’t mean for it to be taken advantage of like that.

But then, I don’t have any corp. mates and I don’t think self-destruct counts.

I bet if you eject from a ship, then destroy that ship with another, itll count.

I just betcha

Good riddance.

At which point you are no longer playing an MMO, you are playing a single player version of EVE…

It doesn’t have to be a corpmate, it could similarly be a friend you know in Eve. I know there’s no wrong way to play Eve as it’s a sandbox, but if someone chooses to play the game completely seperate from the other people that play it, to the best of their ability, then I really think they’re doing themselves a disservice by not taking advantage of the MMO part of the game.

I’ve played solo for years now in multiple MMOs, as I don’t use voice software even joining a player corp. results in being left out of the loop. Hence you might as well be solo.

Jumping to conclusions is when you assume it’s not going to be specific targets …
… despite them hinting at that.

ā€œwith daily challengesā€

Not even halfwits.

Nothing of value was lost.

Nothing is preventing you from participating in both.

As far as my characters are concerned I’m sure you are right.

As far as the thousands of pounds I’ve spent on this game, I’m sure you make up for that.

Not needed if you have already spend it.
