I really dislike the skin sequencing. CCP you are already charging PLEX to create these skins and for the most part to get colors and patterns. Do you really have to create some BS item we need like the sequencers? The real money isn’t good enough? On top of the new skills? The monetization is getting crazy. Soon we’ll need PLEX to just board the ships.

The sequencers themselves are so cheap that it doesn’t really matter.
I agree the SKINr is crazy monetized, but CCP needs to make more money from the game and it’s not coming from new players. At least SKINs don’t really give you an advantage, so I don’t think it’s that big of a deal.
I don’t think it’s going in the direction of plexing to fly a ship though. It’s more going in the direction of more new colors, more new patterns, new unique logos. Maybe they will add player created apparel at some point. All to increase PLEX sales. Which, again, isn’t such a huge problem because items like SKINs and clothes confer exactly zero advantage in the game.

I made a custom skin, applied it to my ship etc, logged in one day and it was gone. never got an answer to my ticket.
