When are you guys going to install proper studio lighting to the Skinr window. We get better light in the info box then what basically amounts to a painting booth. Have you guys ever looked into how much light professional painters need to give a good job? Why is the entire bottom of the ship black in shadow?
Also, give us the ability to change the lighting to each starlight condition so we can really check our skins out. Sometimes in the right/wrong system, they can look better or much worse depending
Agreed. It’s not so much a problem with pancakes ships like Barghest or Nyx, but if you’re trying to create a SKIN for a Nightmare, Vargur, Revelation, and other vertically-oriented ships then it’s very difficult and you’re never gonna get an adequate perception of what the colors really look like.
I completely agree. This feature requires real money so it’s not unfair to ask for some much needed improvements
@CCP_Swift Look at me!
They won’t. It’s not something that affects Null Sec.
Hey! Sorry for not seeing this earlier.
SKINR lighting is something we’re looking at so you can best see what your creations will look like in space. There’s no solid timeline on this for right now, but we will have a devblog about it in the future.
