Hi there, i hope this is the right place to post this, firstly since joining EVE i’m totally addicted, ive even started Multiboxing, i tried the game a few times before but each time game other because i found the game hard and overwhelming, but i have finially given it the chance it deserves and I can see there is still so much potential for this game to develop.

But speaking to members from my Corporation and just my personal feedback i just feel that SKINS are a waste of time, this is a great shame, people tell me it’s not worth it due to the Cost.

It seems to me Omega is more important and Skill points, so why not reward players every month a free finalisation for a SKIN, they still use ISK or other means to acquire the other Elements to help create the SKINS but i think it’s the Finalize design which just costs a lot which puts people off and me for one.

Or maybe people would prefer just for a little extra PLEX for the Monthly Omega say extra 5 PLEX to unlock your SKIN permanently. people will still change their SKINS when they get bored of the theme or colour but it’s a nice GIFT to get a SKIN for free once you pay for the Omega. this way each month everyone gets a SKIN gradually for each ship over the years. this game is already a marathon.

I just think the SKINS are greatly forgotten.

i just think 60 PLEX which might be average i’m not sure, please i’m new to the game so i could be wrong, i just think it needs a change up, i just think lets say 60 PLEX is average thats quite a lot especially if they are buying Omega as well.

Or even half the PLEX price for a Final design. maybe even a Discount for Multiboxing, like minus 10% per extra account comes off of the Finalize design.

just throwing out some ideas really. i’m still new to it all. but for me i just feel put off already at such an early start to the game. ive only been playing for 3 months, i got a second character just recently. and i really want my ships to have a theme or even represent the Corporation. I mean maybe i’m missing something as i’m still learning.

Free SKINr finalization won’t happen, as this is direct income for Fenris, and I can’t imagine why they would just forgo earning money off of it. But Fenris does offer regular discounts for SKINr creation.

While I understand the finalization is costly, I don’t agree with reducing the prices. This is the type of thing where less is more. It’s expensive, but this very fact will make players (mostly) generate only those designs which are truly outstanding and not spam the game with countless cheap content.
