In light of the recent proposed HUD changes around legibility, I would like to bring back in discussion the issue of bright skyboxes and suns. A past closed topic Can I change the skyboxes? - #21 by Felix_Isimazu
Basically the background nebulas and sun don’t work well with the HUD, and by the looks of it won’t work well with the new HUD either.
EULA doesn’t allow for modding so I’d like to ask for an option to remove these nebulas from the skybox, or a separate slider to manually dim them. At least by a 50% if not more.
Currently only workarounds are to play in potato mode, but I’m not a multiboxer to enjoy that, or constantly rotate the camera not how it’s useful for me, just to have legibility on screen.
