SMT : Eve Map Tool

After you extract, open the SMT folder and you will see a txt file called intel. Open that and input the name of your intel channel, exactly the way it is shown in game. Save and you are good to go

As @Ikki_Phoenix mentioned, this is currently a text file to edit… it doesnt need to be an exact match; for example, “intel” will monitor all channels your a member of with “intel” in the name.

Another small update : 0.62

New Features :

  • New Parser for Jump bridges
  • New display option for cyno beacons
  • Added colour support to the hover menu
  • Adjusted some region settings

Jump Bridges

I’ve added a parser for the jump bridges as I’ve run into a couple of issues with the search being a little unreliable (this seems like a long standing issue : /characters/{character_id}/search/ returns fewer structure results than you might expect · Issue #108 · esi/esi-issues · GitHub ).

On the jump bridges tab ive added an additional option :
image

The import from clipboard will update and create any jump bridges. The jump bridge data needs to be in the format :

StructureID FromSystem → ToSystem

For example, if you had a jump bridge from Jita to Urlen it would need to be

12345678 Jita → Urlen
90123456 Urlen → Jita

you can then select this text, copy it and click import from clipboard

If you don’t know the structure ID you can use a 0 and it will just route you to the system and not the structure.

Cyno Beacons

Ive added a new display for any cyno beacons; in the root of the app is a new text file (CynoBeacons.txt), if you add the system names each on a separate line it will display them on the map with a small orange circle like this :

I’m still working on ways to display this; so if you have any feedback let me know.

Misc
And lastly ive added the ability to colour the popup menu (in case you wanted a hot pink popup)

Just installed for the first time… Can’t seem to “Add Character” - I am getting several script errors when going to auth my characters…

In the end I can get the name and PW entered but the “Sign In” button has no link

Suggestions ?

This is the first script error I get

This is the second

@Masahiro_Shishido you need to run the “RUN ME FIRST…” batch file; it fixes this

Cheers,

Works perfectly now… 4 characters added - no drama…

Hey @Slazanger

Just downloaded the latest version and a few problems. It doesnt track my character and when I try to relog, it crashes immediately

Another release; slighly larger one this time! 0.63

  • New Universe View with basic Data
  • Fix for ADM overlay interacting poorly with the Jove Observatories
  • Fix for crash after adding new character

The main feature is a basic universe level view :

It has the same basic data views as the region view

This is all quite experimental at the moment; and I’ve been working through some performance items to get it running fast enough so would be interested to hear how its running for everyone.

Just tried it and when I click on add character, the popup window is unable to connect to the EVE login site

@Ikki_Phoenix hmm odd; does it show anything… do you see this first popup ?

Another small release : 0.64

  • Fix for character authentication issue
  • basic range view on the universe map

Range View (Universe)
You can right click on systems and display systems in range :

It will highlight the systems that are in range in blue and draw a rough circle showing the range (although this is a 2d map of a 3d galaxy so its a guideline
