Just wanted to say thanks for all the time and effort you’ve invested in creating and maintaining this app.

May you always have much success and good fortune.

got a few questions - why is he downloading so much data in background (30-50mb per hour)?
why cant it work in ‘offline’ mode while i have all network/zkill/etc disabled?

@Garnoo it communicates with the ESI api provided by CCP aswell as eve-scout, zkill and dotlan… its a live app so 30-50mb seems reasonable to me

A fairly large release this time : 0.78

  • Removal of the Map Config in favour of a new Preferences System
  • Easier access to ADM / SOV Timer info
  • Easier access to the Region Data
  • Moved auto follow of jump ranges to right click
  • Temporarily removed the 4 additional colour themes (this will be coming back)

The main change in this release is the removal of the old Map Config tab in favor of a new Preferences system which can be found via File -> Preferences :

These options are functionally the same as the previous property grid although a couple of options have been added to the other views :

On the regions view the global data has been moved to its own tool bar :

image

These are the same global data views as before

On the main region view I’ve moved the timer and adm functionality to 2 new buttons on the toolbar :

And finally the auto following jump range has been moved to the right click menu… when you right click on a character in the region view you will have a new submenu that lets you set the auto updating ranges (for hunting) :

No longer getting intel feeds into SMT now with this version. Has worked in the past. It’s like it isn’t even reading the log files anymore, zero input.

@Shau_Chen if you re-grab the latest version it should be fine… I missed the default set of intel channel files (3 text files missing from the build)

Another release : 0.80

New :

  • Darkmode re-skin
  • Multi-line intel

Fixes :

  • Fix for multiple intel sounds
  • Fix for server version display
  • Fix for jump range not refreshing when set multiple times

The main change is a reskin to darkmode :

I’ve had to touch a fair bit of the UI code; so there may be a couple of oddities floating about… let me know if you spot any.

Other new stuff is the Intel panel has been tweaked a little more :

it now supports multi-line and shouldn’t create any more duplicate entries

Feature Request: in the Jump Bridge window - have the ability to remove a bridge, and possibly add a new bridge connection by specifying the 2 systems.

There’s times when a bridge that I see on the map has been reinforced and is not currently active - which you can see in the game client once the route is planned - and would be nice to skip over that bridge and the tool re-calculate the route. but overall - LOVE your tool. its freakin’ awesome!

how can i use the intel channel?

@Snipping_Shooter you need to be in the channel in game and edit the intelchannels.txt file to include the name of the channel you want monitoring (1 per line)

@Shakri_Manai_Devolsa you can already do this…

You can re-arrange the app layout… if you click and hold on the sub window titles (these yellow bits)

You can pull the window / tab seperate and either have it float seperately or dock back… also pin and set windows to auto hide using these :

image

you can create some crazy layouts :

@Shakri_Manai_Devolsa in your case to make best use of the space its probably worth setting the stack of windows on the left to auto hide by setting it here :

This will collapse the pane onto the side and give you the most space for the map(s)
