Why would you want to ban JF cynos there? (You already can’t use a cyno in HS)

i like those people that have a minor inconvininece and yell out : BAN THIS!!! instead of trying to find a way to work around the problem. It must be brain function hardwiring problem in some peoples brains… Or they are simply too spoiled to even consider finding a solution on their own…this can also be the case…

I find this ironic for you to say considering that over half your posts on the forum is to cry about ganking instead of finding a solution around it.

You know, ganking is something so minorly inconvenient.

This is exactly what i meant…

Your solution to everything is to reject that there are other solutions and other explanations than the simple one you come up with…there is no way that you are not the smartest human in the history of humankind and everybody else is just too stupid to understand your greatness…no not greatness…omnipotency… Hardwiring brain deficit as i stated

Why do we need this banned again?

Why do people keep asking about something being banned. I didnt see that in the op’s opening post.

All i read was a no cyno JF…not “please ban cynos” in high and low sec.

My opinion on the matter is that having a no cyno JF is a bad idea. It will just be another fine case of cutting down the little to few mechanics we have left in the game. Theres needs to be some work involved when jumping that far. JF’ers are exactly where they need to be.

Well, when it reads “no JF cyno in high-sec/low-sec” - I assume it means preventing JFs in high-sec from cyno’ing to low-sec, aka: killing (banning) this feature.

(sorry, was still editing…)

No, it doesnt. It just states “a no cyno” JF. Thats it.

So jump freighters would be prohibited from cyno’ing out of high-sec…?

It sounds to me that the op may have wanted a JF ( meaning another type JF ) to do its thing without the use of a cyno…thats how i read it. I read nothing about banning anything. If that is what he meant then he needs to edit his post saying so.

Either way, im totally against the idea…as i stated above.

I have no idea either, then. The idea of various capitals (not just JFs) being able to self-jump has been floated around for years - but I can’t offer an opinion of the effect this would have on gameplay. o7

I mean… i guess it could jump to the sun instead of to a cyno. But that’s probably even dumber than jumping to a cyno beacon in nullsec

Well, i think we both know what effect it will have…though small imo.

It would relieve the need for a candle light and ease the pain of setting a jump up overall for some folks. However with that pro im sure the con will be a smaller cargo or even yet, a maximum shorter jump at JDC level 5. And, like the other jf’s, the ability to jump into hs would not be allowed.

I understand now…i was so wrong…the problem is not the mechanic of a jump freighter, no, it’s the amount of karens on the server…good to know…

bumped into EVE Technology and Research Center > Player Features & Ideas

Might be a good idea to consider why most capitals are banned in high sec. I mean why cant people sit in Titans outside of Jita? How else are they going to show off their Titan skins or any other capital ship they own. /s

But seriously why are cyno beacons and most capitals banned in highsec? Genuinely curious

CONCORD, safety, and balance.

This cyno requirment is sometimes not convenient or corp mates account might be slotted with other usefull chars , paying for 2 accounts and dual boxing is too much to ask to perform a function in MMO , maybe change it to solo mode travel any sector but comes at an increased cost of fuel , its better pay for something then figure out few days someone elses shedule or account capacity
