Right now PLEX is at less 20% on the Eve Online Store so 1500 PLEX sells for $52 and then 3 months of Omega is less 20% in the in-game store so it sellf for 1200 PLEX. So this sounds all really “special” right? This should be the best price for Omega and best time to buy Omega right?
Now lets do the math:
$52 / 1500 PLEX = $0.0346666666666667 per PLEX
1200 PLEX x $0.0346666666666667 = $41.60
All good right? Now why is it that last week Omega on the Eve Online Store at less 15% and sold for $40.80. So how is it that buying Omega strait from the Online Store at less 15% is less ($40.80) than buying PLEX at less 20% and then buying Omega at another less 20% on the in-game store by $0.80. Something is wrong here. Now I am sure I will be trolled again just like last week but go and check it out for yourself.

You might want to read up on Significant figures - Wikipedia, $0.034667 or even $0.035 is practically the same and much more readable.
Cheaper than normal sounds special indeed!
Whether it’s the ‘best’ time and ‘best’ price depends on if the sale is the best sale. There is some variation in sales and if you’re looking only to buy the absolute ‘best’ sale I recommend doing the math, training patience to level 5 and waiting for the better part of a year until you get the best sale.
Just because a special is better than normal doesn’t mean it’s the best opportunity.
