That’s a good article. Thanks.
Sorry have we found out official reason for bans and how many bans yet?
Also.
IF the reason was pre-spawning Concord which increased their response time…
Then would miners that pre-spawn Concord in belts be subject to bans for decreasing their response time?
o7 brother
We’ll miss you
And to all the idiots saying “hngg we don’t care”, you cared enough to post here
CODE. Always Wins
The ISK will be put to good use!
What an altruistic way to quit EVE! Just puts a smile on my face!
Maybe I’m a bit slow, but… Where is it stated that anyone in CODE was banned?
Maybe in the OP that you didn’t read?
Oh! Yeah, there it is. CODE players got banned because the very poorly formatted OP said so. Luckily, he didn’t provide any sort of context, or proof, or anything. Just a blab stating that he was quitting.
That clears it up.
the cluelessness is real
how’s that CODE. alt of yours doing btw?
In case your post is not a fake, then check this out baby : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Griefer
Maybe this is the reason you are looking for ? (nothing to do with drones nor CONCORD manipulation). Read it carefully and you will find this:
“As many as 25% of customer support calls to companies operating online games deal specifically with griefing.”
THIS is the reason, you and your friends cost money to CCP, lots of real money. You might consider yourself as lucky to be only banned rather than having to pay “shame and interests” to CCP.
If you still don’t get it then there is no hope for you. My advice: stay out of MMO’s, you might encounter more harsh game developers towards your behaviour in the near future.
Hasta la vista baby !
Your friends only have themselves to blame, your hubris is so amusing, they knew it was an exploit and kept doing it.
Salvos, you are on the right lines, I will send you a mail tomorrow with the details, you will rather like it.
EVE has one of the most liberal policies in regards to players’ actions in game on the web and yet the devs went out of the way to ban a group of people for no good reason? Something just doesn’t add up…
HOW CAN PRE-SPAWNING CONCORD SO THEY TAKE LONGER IS A BANNABLE EXPLOIT TO A GANKER…
YET…
PRE-SPAWNING CONCORD SO THEY ARRIVE FASTER IS NOT A BANNABLE EXPLOIT BY A MINER?
Well, I made it fairly obvious that I was looking for clarification.
As far as the ganking alt I was toying with, my for real cluelessness, as well as the chat channel being mostly a sweet ghost town put it on the back burner. And for all I know, it could be banned, according to the poorly formatted OP.
What’s with the hostility anyway? I’m honestly just trying to figure out what OP is going on about. No need to act like I set you up for an FBI sting or anything.
CONCORD never arrives faster than coded for that sector.
If CONCORD is already on grid, ofc they will continue to aggress criminals there.
OPs buddies/alts got banned.
He is super salty and dropped almost a trillion in isk laundering.
This is a shameful thread deserving of ridicule and contempt.
you sad because you didn’t get to receive 500b?
that’s cute
I find funny how CODE. members have this habit of baiting people into arguing things or make us mad so they can twist things into their favour. Every thing is already explained in the previous posts, yet they think they can act cool.
That’s for the lady with the Caps lock.
Nah.
Im sad some jackass managed to earn that much and then leave cos CCP hurt their fee-fees by legit banning them.
Sad, cos it shows these people dont respect the game or those playing alongside them in it.
Way to focus on the thing that matters least, sis.
Its not about the isk. Its about the butthurt.
Anyways, that wealth has now been laundered.
Pre-spawning CONCORD to have them react faster on an offense, since they’re already there? No ban.
Pre-spawning CONCORD somewhere else to add to their travel time before they get to the real ganker? Ban.
Placing decoys/puppets to delay CONCORD reaction? Ban.
CCP stated it clearly, everything that delays CONCORD is a bannable offense. They actually posted “tips” on how to do it, and surely had used that themselves. Sorry (oh, well, not really) pals, you brought it on to yourself.
And it doesn’t matter how often they bleat “Praise James”, that (amongst other things, maybe) definitely crossed a line they shouldn’t have crossed.
