What I don’t get is why CCP spawns those sites in the middle of a big player coalition when it would be so much more fun to spawn them on one of the few non-blue boarders left in game. Or NPC null, or LowSec, or the Brave staging or whatever else would be more fun. Doesn’t fit the lore because something… something… that’s not bloodraider space? We had all those event faction sides spawn all over the place, so why limiting it now?

Interceptors die pretty quick to smartbombs. Set smartbombing battleships around the gate. What, too much effort?
The inerceptor has to land, load grid, loot, and align out. During that period is MORE than enough time for counter-interceptors to lock and apply tackle. But I guess too much effort.

So back to my most recent point. Why not have it spawn everywhere? It would be just like incursions but way more emergent and probably not farmed by only punishers…
Before “Casino war” (other names: WWB, war of sovless aggression, etc…) goons were living in North. It were other players who forced goons to move.
So yes, totally “internally” 
Yes, it’s only the funniest of coincidences that CCP headshot the guys behind the “Casino war” just in case anyone else fancied to bother the Goons, and then accidentally threw a PvE bling right at what happened to be the Goons’ doorstep.

Well… Casinos needed to be headshotted. It does not matter whether they waged war on goons or NC/PL or other entity.
Blood Raider stuff on the other hand can be seen this way, yes. Not sure though if CCP was working on it long before Casino War. I’ve seen people saying that by the time CCP launched this event they were working on it for 9 months
I’m pretty sure that is the plan and they will show up for guristas next. The blood version is just the initial test for all the backend of the AI and whatnot.

CCP, which is composed of a majority of Pandemic Legion characters, including Fozzie himself, worked secretly, without knowledge of the CSM, for at least three months while Goonswarm was in Deklein. Before they revealed the Sotiyo, they secretly contacted Lenny to pay certain alliances an obscene amount of ISK to invade Deklein in order to force us out. The Mittani is secretly psychic, and knowing of CCP’s plans with the Sotiyo, had the CFC evac to Delve, where he secretly used his secrete psychic powers to ensure CCP released the Sotiyo on their internal schedule.

It’s a pointless waste of time because it gives a massive reward to 1 player but requires 60-120 players to run it. meaning a large group of players have to be willing to put isk and time on the line to receive nothing.
