Gix, you’ve already alluded to the OPs mental state, so why continue to bait them? I know you like to throw your weight around and on several occasions I think you often make some really good points and clearly know the game - certainly infinitely better than I do (low bar though!). Continually baiting the OP, when you apparently also think they are unstable, is demeaning to them, but moreover to yourself. Nobody likes a bully, and the respect you earn is easily lost. Please stick to what you’re good at Bro.
As to the trading claims of the OP, everyone is free to draw their own conclusions, but I would say this, fwiw…
Whether or not the OP is on the road to great wealth IRL is immaterial really, and I wish them well whatever. There are always bigger fish in the sea - The Australian billionaire Kerry Packer is famously quoted as putting a guy in his place who was boasting of his $100m fortune in a casino. Packer’s response on hearing these boasts “$100m, eh mate? I’ll toss you for it?”.
OP I read the other thread where Gix absolutely slaughtered you. I get your ego must find that hard to take. Many would. Bringing to bear your RL fortune won’t alter that though, and as you can see, it hasn’t elicited a universally positive response here. I’m really not at all sure what you might have hoped for but I’m sorry to say I doubt most will think of you in any discourse on Robin Hood.
I’m appealing to you to understand that the self actualisation you apparently seek won’t be found in a computer game. EVEn this one ('scuse pun!) Enjoy the game for what it is. Fun. Seek your self actualisation elsewhere. You’ll get much more from that I think. On here, imo it’s likely that pretty much nobody really cares. On the rest, no one one really cares. How much money you, me or anyone else has is no one else’s business. However, you clearly lied earlier, which throws huge doubt on every other claim you make. There is no reason to believe someone that is known to lie.
Sure you passed a funded account challenge. Another no proof claim, but it’s irrelevant anyway. Why it even matters in this thread beyond trying to wave your epeen around is still not clear.
In relation to progress, sure you will. I’ll wait with baited breath for your updates.

So to get back in track, what could you really do to make entertaining game play.
Maybe hire some high skilled pilots but how would you ensure they had the right player skills, 100mill sp doesn’t make good fighters.
Groups that are successful in eve have spent a lot of time training together to develop skills
Often all out war is the end result of months of drama back stabbing and espionage.
So what would be good aims for a said mercenary group, I can only think of things for my play style, which most here know,.
What would others do?

Boy, trading stonks sure does look easy! It must be like going to the bank to withdraw some money, except you never have to put any in beforehand! Just free, unlimited funds for everyone! Nothing could possibly go wrong; there are only winning moves to make! Just ask every single other person ever who has traded, and went from rags to riches analyzing those candlestick charts in just a few days and with a bit of starting capital from their savings fund. Yes siree Bob, you darn-tootin’!

He should go the Chinese/Russian way of doing things in EVE…
He should invest the 40k in making the BEST mining/abyss/ratting/looting bots known to mankind. And then he can make a website to sell monthly bot subscriptions to those who want to use his software to cheat EVE and… oh wait…

Well yes, I hear you.
Except that considering the ammount of TIME people are and have been willing to spend on this game since it’s inception.
And that TIME = MONEY.
I’d say dropping 20 or 40k on the game or company, isn’t such a heresy afterall.
And especially less of a heresy if I plan on using it to finance a charity system ingame where the real money would be put to use to help others in RL.
We’ll see how it goes really.
Maybe I end up spending way less on the game and just using it only for myself only afterall, and people I know ingame.
I’ll be sure to necro this thread with all the proper info, so all those who doubted me can have a piece of that humble pie I’ll be serving them.
