First mass war dec alliance in hisec created June 2010 The Orphanage no less. December 2011 PIRAT created, November 2014 kills over a thousand per month. for the first time Vendetta created February 2013, November 2015 kills over a thousand per month for the first time.

Apology coming your way, they were pretty effective. Over 1,000 kills December 2008 and went up to 4,761 in May 2010. Before collapsing. Was in the period I was not playing 2007 to 2009 and I did not see them in Caladari space much in late 2009 early 2010.

My understanding was that the Orphanage were created from the Privateers. But I could be wrong.

But the question still applies, what changes occurred in that period that changed hisec in such a major way, where did the young players start going, I know CCP was pushing people to go in nullsec, but you know, something changed.

If your argument is that new players “went to null-sec,” all you have to do is look at the graphs of the player distribution across areas of space (and older QEN reports) to know that that’s not true.

That is not the point, what happened is that the majority of the young new players, eager to do PvP went to nullsec, that was the difference.

Previously they hung around in hisec to get to the required skill point level to be accepted into nullsec alliances.
