The problem wasn’t their server. If the server simply wasn’t up to the task, it would have crashed as many nodes have done before.
For reference, CCP has done an amazing job dealing with server limitations. The fact they can have 6000 people on a single server is amazing.
I assume this was meant as a joke, and just to add to that, there are already a number of cloud services consumed (eg. the launcher and all download on demand is hosted on AWS), but just to make light of it, this commercial cloud consumption worked out just peachy:
