Space? What is it and what are we missing?

Hello again eve community,
We have so many different ways to access different types of space. High, Low, Npc and control space between it all you have (Dead space, Wormhole)
We are always looking for the NEXT BIG THING!
Time we look at a hard redesign the space itself. Let’s start with the map itself?

Let’s talk about high EMPIRE! 1.0 0.9 0.8.
(Public Space - Hidden from Eyes - Unknown Watching).

Let’s talk about low EMPIRE! 0.7 0.6 0.5
(NPC Control - Hidden from Eyes - Jump Return).

Let’s play in high FACTION! 0.4 0.3
(NPC control - Belts Hunting - Missions

Let’s kill in low LAWLESS! 0.2 0.1

Let’s build in CONTROL! 1.0 - 0.1

Let’s between it all build, kill and control WORMHOLE!

Let’s jump to fight in DEADSPACE!

As far as the map goes (and I know its been proposed before) it would be nice if the static nature of NPC faction space changed. I often think it would be nice if the four major powers had border wars every once in a while where at least border systems could change hands and players could help their faction accomplish that. It would bring some real meaning to factions that we don’t have now, where we can pilot any ship we want if we train for it etc. Imagine being able to jump into a random NPC border war battle between the Amarr and the Minmatar and help one side to victory over the other! Imagine dumbly flying into Amarr space as a Minmatar and being told to leave in one minute as there is a minor war on or you could get freely blown to bits by Amarr PCs! A Caldari could still fly freely and maybe make some good ISK picking up the slack in hauling.
