This won’t be doable when mining because gankers are warping to you directly so when you see them on overview it is too late, but I very often read and engage on various forums and discords and recently even playing other games such as LoL’s TFT while semi-afk “playing” EVE. I take action only when I see my target on overview or I hear someone is attacking me.
In a sense I agree that EVE promotes being AFK. Activities like mining requires no input at all for extended period of time. Then there is autopilot and passive ISK incomes like PI. And passive skilling - a core feature of the game needs no effort and is even running when you aren’t even logged in.
See, I don’t understand that mentality. If it’s not engaging enough to keep your attention, than why play it at all. There are tons of other games out there that would probably be more engaging.
I quit playing ED when I realized that I was playing and watching Netflix. I realized I was wasting my time with something that didn’t bring any sense of entertainment or enjoyment and I was substituting that with something else at the same time
So I left it and started playing D2. And it was amazing. In fact I would probably still be playing D2 if bungee didn’t subscribe to the FOMO business model. Sad day when they decided to go that route.
Now they are producing video’s on how they can cheat using corvettes to draw concord away. Seriously what does it take to have CCP follow them around for a bit an plug every hole they find in the high sec criminal system. It’s getting out of hand.
what’s the point of high sec then, might as well make it all null sec. Trust me you guys are on thin ice at CCP, you have been saying this during all the nerfs. The more arrogant you are the more CCP will close in on your tactics.
the fact that you can move a fleet of bombers into high sec at no risk and blow up all those freighters is a serious issue. High sec is not null sec. That crap has to stop. And I think you are such a narcissist you won’t be able to help yourself in your comments to the point of making CCP sick that you exist in this game. This is not a sociopathic simulator.

Actually, I am one of the least narcissistic alliance leaders in the history of EvE Online, believe me. A lot of people are saying that, a lot of people.
See the problem is that despite ganking is supposedly huge problem, nobody makes any effort ingame to try to stop organizations like Safety. All these players can just whine on forum and cry to daddy CCP. When you ask them to help you destroy gankers citadels or to form a fleet and anti-gank them, they will refuse with various excuses.
