Standing Changes

I did a storyline mission and I had 2 toons in total in fleet, I handed in the mission and said yes to share the rewards etc

The standing gains and losses only went to the person who did the mission, the 2nd character got non of the standing chnages, is that right?

They were not at the mission site, but at a station elsewhere

Are you talking about

  • faction standings?
  • (NPC) corp standings?
  • agent standings?

Because as far as I know only the latter two can be shared:

Both corp and agent personal standing can be shared in missioning fleets

Storylines do not share standings. But also, unless they are in the same region, you wont see their standings change in game until you relog.

Best way to know they got standings if not in the same region, look for isk and LP.

While you “may” see corp and agent standings raise with storylines, you will not see faction.

Right now theres only one way to share faction, and its the last mission of an epic arc

my question was related to faction standings but all the info was handy, thanks

basically trying to get the broker fees down on a few toons

Then Geo’s point that Storyline Standing is not shared stands. Storylines give Faction standing and that can only be improved for each character individually, not by fleet sharing.

You basically have to accept normal missions with all chars and run storylines on all chars that need better faction standing.

Yeah it would seem so, pain in the arse, but it is what it is

You can also run The Blood-Stained Stars - EVE University Wiki together with all alts parallel then share among all three (not sure if it is better to not share and then the total is different for the owner so check about that first but even then easier to run them together than one by one).

It gives a considerable standings boost for a chosen empire faction and can be run again 3 months after finishing the prior one.

It splits evenly like regular corps. 50/50 for 2 in fleet, 33.3 with 3 in fleet etc
