Hello dear friends.
I want to share a story that happened to me recently.
One fine evening I decide to play EVE online. The weather was wonderful - the sun was shining brightly and the birds were singing. So I was in a great mood. As always, I was busy spreading corruption for the glory of Deathless and Malakim Zealots .
In the system, I saw an active site, although there was no one there except me. So I flew there and saw that someone had already started it. I also saw the wreck of a poor fw mate who was destroyed by treacherous militia. To prevent his victim from going to waste. I decided to end the capture. And then a terrible tragedy happened…
The biggest betrayal in the entire history of EVE online. My ship mistakenly targeted a wreck and I fired at it. For aggression against another pilot and this unprecedented betrayal. I immediately received a “fair” punishment. I lost 1.76 standing and two ranks .
My great mood was ruined.
So what’s the point of this story?
Don’t you think that the standing loss system should be a little more balanced? I think shooting fw mate ship and a wreck are slightly different things.
Have a great day.

Cargo containers and wrecks are considered valid property just like drones and ships. If a player damages either, they are initiating aggression on its owner. If this attack does not occur under legal circumstances, then this will warrant CONCORD response. Examples of illegal engagements are as follows:
- The attacked entity is not the players own property
- It is a corp members property, where the corporation has friendly fire marked as illegal
- It belongs to a member of the same fleet
Granted, that is in the Eyes of CONCORD for hisec, but overall game mechanics sees wrecks as ships and valid property, so shooting a wreck is the same as shooting a players ship… same consequences
