Well, they did it before, with the ādonāt shoot the abyss players.ā It is not unbelievable that CCP would do it. It is unbelievable that the developer of Eve would be so clueless about why all these players are still paying monthly subscription fees to play this game, almost 20 years after its release. It is unbelievable that CCP does not understand, even in the simplest terms, how they were successful with Eve.

This. Iām genuinely confused why these are even options.
CCP you do realize you are the sole controllers of your development schedule right? You donāt have to release something thatās unfinished or has such clear exploits that you have to preemptively notify people to not exploit.
I think a lesser number will complain about content that actually works on initial release, than content thatās easily exploitable and must be exploit-notificationād immediately upon release.
Take your time, take another week or two if you have to. Stop releasing unfinished crap.

making the orca immune to damage would be best thing to do and cover area of site with damaging cloudsā¦
hopefully if they put damaging clouds they wont ban people for bumping miners into damaging clouds

No, itās not. Development is when you are working on a product or feature, and are still ahead of your deadline (or are still in the planning phase of when that release should be).
If you miss a deadline, you explain why and push it back as much as possible or make concessions while still releasing a finished product or feature.
Releasing something unfinished is called a āfailure.ā

Is there a way for us capsuleers to āassist the piratesā legally, as it is, to disrupt stargate production, as with edencom/trig stuff? In my opinion there needs to be counter-gameplay here.
The new stargates are happening, no matter what you do. If you want, you can go on the Intergalactic Summit and roleplay, though.
