Strange facts about the game that you don't think about

I still have frigates with Large Rigs.

Citadels and Upwell content are essentially just a byproduct of CCP not knowing how to properly work with POS code to improve and modernize POS gameplay.

Ships used to be tanky, but somehow our industrialists started to make them more paper…

I think they are stealing minerals, but I got no solid evidence.

Specifically minmatar ships.

I’m going to guess it’s not their ships that make them seem strange.

Well I know if a Capsuleer read about the Minmatar Republic first before selecting them as a pilot home they should know that they are special.

Please no hate!

Well, technically speaking, pretty much every capsuleer is a billionaire. So we get to experience what real billionaires are already doing - they don’t exactly vote, but their money and influence can affect elections even in countries that they are not eligible to vote in.

To an extent, yes. But I don’t think they don’t know how to do it, they just opted in for a more simple and more maintainable solution. I remember design art from a fanfest many many years ago with modular POS structures that are put together like LEGO bricks. I don’t think they couldn’t pull it off, I just think that they went with a much more simple solution.

The Sansha Incursions have been enslaving hundreds of millions of people per month for the last decade or so, and there has been extremely little change or reaction to this in-universe.

Some of the older Veteran players may still have Frigates, Destroyers and Cruisers fit with Large Rigs…

Fedo made of biomassed capsuleers…

My 8 year old son pestered and pestered me to let him play the game.

I expected it to be costly to me - it was.

I expected him to hate it - he didn’t.

He has been reasonably successful setting up in null, getting 4/5 of the ships he’s gotten from high sec to our pocket system.

The other day I podded him after he made 26 jumps from Jita in a navy caracal. He took it well.

However many guns you fit on your ship, the game doubles it on the hull. So 1 gun always equals 2 guns, in reality.

Good catch

I’m pretty sure that’s so that the ship can always shoot at a target even if it graphically is on the other side of the ship: it just uses the other gun.
